Eclipso has had the edge over the Justice Society of America throughout Stargirl Season 2. The villain forced Yolanda to quit the JSA, sent Rick to jail, and he’s the reason why Courtney ended up in the Shadowlands. But in the finale of Stargirl Season 2, the JSA is looking to band all of their resources together to stop Eclipso. And according to actor Meg DeLacy, who plays Cindy, fans will not want to miss the final episode of season 2.

Meg DeLacy previews the ‘Stargirl’ Season 2 finale

A fan recently asked TVLine, “The Stargirl season finale is less than two weeks away. Anything to share?” The news source then relayed the question to Meg DeLacy, and she teased that viewers should expect “a major takedown.” However, DeLacy added, “Eclipso is really going to succeed in a lot of ways” with his endgame.

Since Eclipso is quite powerful, we imagine it will be difficult for the JSA to defeat him. The only time that they could stop him was when Eclipso targeted Beth. He underestimated how tough she was, and Beth was able to avoid his mind manipulation and stand up to him. Her Doctor Mid-Nite goggles also make her immune to Eclipso’s powers. So there’s no doubt that Beth will be the JSA’s secret weapon in the fight against Eclipso.

But DeLacy reaffirmed what we already thought, that Eclipso isn’t going to go down easily. He will undoubtedly have a plan when the superheroes come for him. But, perhaps, in the Stargirl season 2 finale, the JSA will have a few tricks up their sleeves.

Will Cindy help the JSA stop Eclipso?

Once the JSA becomes whole again, with the return of Yolanda and Rick, they’ll be much stronger than they once were. But, as seen at the beginning of Stargirl Season 2, the team of Courtney, Beth, Yolanda, and Rick might not be enough to stop Eclipso. They will need to look for outside help.

DeLacy, when talking about the finale, said, “A lot of people that we’ve never seen work together before will have to join forces.”

Since Jakeem Thunder returned to the show in episode 12, we imagine that he and Thunderbolt will be a part of the team in the finale. Plus, Jennie is back in Blue Valley. And Cindy, although she once wanted Courtney dead, will want to get revenge on Eclipso for sending her to the Shadowlands. Cindy’s team up with the JSA in the Stargirl Season 2 finale could be what DeLacy referenced in her comment.
