‘Station 19’ crossover season 4, episode 10 recap
On April 8, 2021, Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato) found out that her Visa is expiring. She might have to go back to her home country next month.
“I don’t have time to talk about the screwed up immigration laws of this country,” she told Maya Bishop (Danielle Savre).
After thinking it over, Carina decided she needed to go back to her country to spread her brother’s ashes (Andrew DeLuca). Plus, Italy was hit so hard with COVID-19 that she felt needed back there. Maya decided she wanted to go with Carina instead of pursue a long-distance relationship.
The firefighters saved a newlywed couple
Before the newlywed couple arrived to Grey Sloan Memorial they were trapped in a car, which was also trapped inside a truck. At one moment the wife was so terrified that she begged the doctors to save her before her new husband.
Both of the newlyweds made it out of the car alive and were rushed to Grey Sloan. However, on the way there the husband expressed his frustration to Ben Warren (Jason George). Miranda Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) attempted to explain that people say things they don’t mean when they are scared. However, the husband was distraught at what his wife said.
Dr. Levi Schmitt (Jake Borelli) also made a brief appearance on Station 19 over an iPad. He took one of his patients off a ventilator, by the request of the son. However, he was the only Grey’s Anatomy character to appear in the Station 19 crossover event.
Both shows also featured free COVID-19 testing. However, other than the newlywed couple heading to Grey Sloan, there wasn’t much of a crossover. Fans on Reddit agreed that they wish the Grey’s Anatomy Station 19 crossovers would end.
