Viewers want to know if ABC’s Station 19 Season 5 Episode 7 finally returns tonight, December 9. Beware: the promo infuriates viewers. The last Station 19 episode on November 18 left fans worried about Dean Miller’s (Okieriete Onaodowan) daughter, Pruitt (Janai Kaylani). Miller died tragically in season 5 episode 5, after an explosion, and it looks like a custody battle is coming between Ben Warren (Jason George) and Dean’s parents.

Is ‘Station 19’ on tonight, Dec. 9?

Yes, Station 19 is back with season 5 episode 7, “A House is Not a Home,” tonight, Dec. 9, 2021. Viewers will be happy to hear that the firefighter drama returns again on Dec. 16 with a holiday-themed episode.

In the Nov. 18 episode, Pru’s grandfather, Bill Miller (Jeffrey D. Sams), insists he gets custody of the little girl. However, fans recall that he did not want to meet her when she was born in Station 19 Season 3. On tonight’s Station 19 Season 5 Episode 7, Ben Warren (Jason George) and Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) fight for custody of Pru. During a near-death experience with Ben, Dean insisted that Ben and Miranda would raise Pru if anything happened to him.

A custody battle is coming

“We are Pru’s guardians,” Ifeya Miller (Barbara Eve Harris) insists in the Station 19 5×11 promo.

In the Station 19 Season 5 Episode 11 promo for “A House is Not a Home,” Ben and Miranda argue over whether to fight Dean’s parents for custody of Pru.

“Ripping a child from her grandparents,” Miranda says to Ben. “I won’t do that.”

However, Ben reminded Miranda that Dean wanted them to raise Pru. In the press release for the Station 19 episode tonight, it sounds like Bailey gets on board with the fight for Pru.

“Vic and Jack lean on one another as they process the loss of Dean while Ben and Bailey try to convince Dean’s parents to allow them to raise Pru,” the ABC press release reads.

Viewers hope that they fight for Pru because it was what Dean Miller wanted before he died. Other fans are angry because Dean’s father wouldn’t call Pru by her name. Instead, he called her Arike (her middle name).

“They better fight for Pru,” one fan wrote in the comments of the YouTube trailer. “That’s what Dean would’ve wanted. You can’t give up that easy.”

‘Station 19’ Season 5 Episode 7: Will Andy and Sullivan get back together?

Also, in the Station 19 Season 5 Episode 7 promo for tonight’s episode, viewers find out that Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) and Robert Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) must work together. Sullivan fills in for Captain Pat Aquino (Alain Uy), who was hurt by the explosion in episode 5. However, Andy is shocked by his presence at Station 23. In the promo, the two argue, and it doesn’t look like an indication that they might get back together.

“Meanwhile, at Station 23, Andy’s role temporarily expands, and Sullivan subs in,” the press release continues. “Carina and Maya explore growing their family.”

However, there might be good news on the way for Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato) and Maya Bishop (Danielle Savre). In the Nov. 18 episode, the two talked about having a baby. The press release indicates that they pursue some options for starting a family.

Station 19 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC, before Grey’s Anatomy.
