Stevie Nicks has several homes that she likes to decorate to her particular tastes. While she likely has access to a personal decorator, Nicks picks up items that fit her preferences, including ones from Bed, Bath & Beyond. Just ahead of a 1998 interview, the Fleetwood Mac singer stopped by the home goods store and shared what she had purchased. Both items fit the singer’s style well.

Stevie Nicks has reportedly asked for hotel rooms to be changed to her liking

Rumors swirl about Nicks’ hotel requests, including one that says she required rooms to be painted pink and include a white grand piano. Her bandmate Mick Fleetwood didn’t confirm or deny this rumor, but he did say that hotel ambiance is essential to Nicks.

“One of Stevie’s almost comedic needs, Traveling Wilbury that she is,” he told Vulture, “is what we call hotel-hopping, where we all check into a hotel and she goes, ‘Oh, I need to try another one,’ and just checks out. She should be a hotel critic.”

She shared what she bought at Bed, Bath & Beyond

Ahead of a 1998 interview with Rolling Stone, Nicks stopped by Bed, Bath & Beyond to pick up some items for her Arizona home. She shared what she purchased.

“Two floor lamps and some silky white panels to wrap around my pole bed,” she said, per The Nicks Fix. “I’m not doing a lot because I’m really trying to rest.”

The purchases seem fitting for Nicks. The silky panels would wrap dreamily around her poster bed, and the lamps are one of Nicks’ ultimate extravagances

“I’m obsessed with lighting,” she told Vanity Fair. “I’m constantly shopping for different lightbulbs. I love rainbow lightbulbs. And, also, one should not live without dimmers. Life is all about lighting.”

She uses lamps to set the mood in her home, which she then compliments with roaring fires.

“I keep a fireplace burning – even when it’s 99 degrees,” she told Rolling Stone. “I just turn the air-conditioning down. My mother goes crazy. She says, ‘Do you know how much money you spend to keep this house cool, and then you burn fires in every single room? You’re so weird, Stevie.’ A fire creates ambiance. I need that fire. So back off, Mom.”

Stevie Nicks has multiple homes

Nicks owns more than one home. Currently, she has two different properties in Los Angeles. The first is a large family home that she fell quickly in and out of love with

“There was this big family living there that obviously loved this house,” she said, per the book Gold Dust Woman: The Biography of Stevie Nicks by Stephen Davis. “So there was a vibe. And something in me thought, Maybe I can have that. I was not there three days before I thought, What the hell do I do here?

Though she kept the house to host guests and use on special occasions, Nicks primarily lives in an oceanfront condo. The stacked, windowed building gives her expansive views of the sea and allows her to enjoy the sound of the waves.
