March is a good month for dramas about big tech gone bad. Amanda Seyfried plays Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in The Dropout, premiering March 3 on Hulu. And Joseph Gordon-Levitt portrays Uber founder Travis Kalanick in Showtime’s new series Super Pumped. This month, Showtime is also highlighting the Oscar-nominated doc Attica, new episodes of political docuseries The Circus, and a bunch of new streaming films, including 2021’s The Green Knight.

Here are the highlights of the new movies and shows on Showtime in March 2022.

Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber tells the true story of the spectacular rise (and equally spectacular fall) of Silicon Valley whiz Kalanick, who founded the ride-sharing app in 2009. It also stars Uma Thurman, Kyle Chandler, and Elisabeth Shue. The show premiered on Feb. 27, with new episodes dropping on Sundays.

The Circus also returns on Sunday, March 6, when the first half of season 7 premieres. This season looks at President Joe Biden’s stalled first-term agenda, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and Donald Trump’s growing control of the GOP as America prepares for midterm elections that will decide control of Congress – and the future of the Biden administration.

Stream Oscar-nominated ‘Attica’ for free on Showtime

Showtime snagged a best documentary feature Oscar nomination for 2021’s Attica. Stanley Nelson and Traci A. Curry’s film looks at the five-day 1971 uprising at the Attica Correctional Facility in New York. It features interviews with survivors of the country’s deadliest prison insurrection, as well observers and government experts, and highlights the ongoing need for prison reform 50 years later.

Through March, Attica will be available to stream for free on Sho.com and YouTube. It will also be available on various Showtime partner platforms.
