‘Summer House’: Craig Conover Thought About Marriage With Paige DeSorbo Last Summer
Craig Conover was ready to take his relationship with Paige DeSorbo to the next level when he visited her at the Summer House last year.
Conover and DeSorbo were seeing other people, but he was ready to get serious, asking her to meet his family. He shared during a recent Summer House episode that he could picture a future with DeSorbo.

During the latest Summer House episode, Conover tells Amanda Batula he’s ready to move forward in his relationship with DeSorbo after a volleyball game. “Do you see this turning into a relationship?” Batula asks Conover point-blank.
“I would be with her and I wouldn’t be doing this if I didn’t,” he replies. “Because you either break up or you get married. Those are the two outcomes. If I didn’t see a potential of her standing next to me on the alter one day, I wouldn’t be here.”

Of course, Batula reports back to DeSorbo, telling her she had a “cute little conversation” with Conover. “I don’t even wanna tell you!” Batula says. “Because it’s so f***ing cute.”
Batula relays what Conover told her about not wanting to be in the relationship if he didn’t see himself walking down the aisle with DeSorbo. DeSorbo looks delighted. “He’s so cute!” she exclaims. Batula added that she can see the romance becoming a relationship.
Craig Conover dishes future with Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo
Conover recently spoke in a bolder sense about marriage with DeSorbo. “I think, eventually, when we have kids or family or whatever, I think we would be in Charleston, but I don’t think she’ll ever not have an apartment in New York,” he said on the Reality Life with Kate Casey podcast. “We’re just in a fortunate place that we don’t really have to make those hard cut decisions. We’re just both so busy right now and traveling. And now, we’re getting to start to work together on projects outside of TV, which is really fun.”
He reflected on his breakup with Naomie Olindo, sharing that it takes time to find the perfect person. “Sometimes people just aren’t correct matches. It’s OK to care about someone and love someone and realize that you’re not supposed to be together,” he said. “You never know when it’s going to happen. But then, you know, I found Paige and it just, exactly what you just said, it just fits where all of a sudden, you’re with someone that loves what you do.”
“It’s really tough to get out of relationships and stuff, and it’s never pleasant, but sometimes it’s just, maybe it’s not your right person,” he added. “And when you do find the right person, it’s really cool.”
But he wasn’t thrilled with how he was portrayed on ‘Summer House’
Conover acknowledged that his and DeSorbo’s romance storyline on Summer House didn’t quite play out in the best way. “When I discovered what direction that they were going in, I was pretty upset and it’s just easier to, like, pull yourself out of it,” he said.
“I really thought it was going to be shown how that was,” he said, referring to some of the more dramatic moments he had this season of Summer House. “And unfortunately, there’s just not enough time in a television slot to show all the happiness and positivity and so I got twisted. I don’t know what was said or shown, but I know it wasn’t, unfortunately, an accurate story.”
