Xander from the Yase Tribe found the first third of the idol, and Brad from the Ua Tribe found the next piece prior to getting voted out. Then, Naseer from the Luvu Tribe found his portion of the idol. And the Ua Tribe had their piece thrown back into the wild.
Survivor Season 41 spoilers note Genie found the last piece of the idol for the Ua Tribe in episode 5. She immediately told her two other tribe members, Ricard and Shan, about the idol. Shan suggested the idol stays unopened, as she didn’t want Genie to have it. But ultimately, Shan and Ricard opened the idol privately and put a fake idol in its place. During the immunity and reward challenge, the Ua Tribe agreed for Shan to say the “Beware Advantage” phrase to see if the other tribes found their idols.
During this process, it was revealed that all three tribes found their idols. This activates the idols and gives castaways who opened the “Beware Advantage” the ability to vote again at Tribal Council.
‘Survivor’ Season 41 spoilers: Who gets sent home from Tribal Council?
So, who goes home during Survivor Season 41 Episode 5? While Tribal Council was certainly tense, it went as many fans predicted. Survivor Season 41 spoilers note the Ua Tribe went to Tribal Council yet again. Ricard and Shan voted together to get Genie out.
While Ricard and Shan stuck together in the end, they had a few tough moments prior to Tribal. After losing the challenge, Liana from the Yase Tribe chose herself and Shan to go off together and have the opportunity to gain another game advantage. The two shared a bond while on their journey, and Shan opted to walk away empty-handed so Liana could have the game advantage.
Unfortunately, this time away from the Ua Tribe gave Genie and Ricard time to talk. This started to throw a wrench into Ricard and Shan’s trust in each other. Later, when Shan asked Ricard to give back an advantage of hers prior to Tribal Council, Ricard refused, as he saw that as a major red flag that Shan may blindside him.
