Jeff Probst promised at the beginning of Survivor Season 41 that we are now entering a new era of the game. And so far, he’s kept his word. Many new twists and ways of strategic thinking have been introduced. Now, according to the Survivor spoilers Reddit page, the final Tribal Council in season 41 may differ from recent seasons. It would only make sense if the changes to the game carried on to the finale.

Fans on the ‘Survivor’ spoilers Reddit page think that the finale will feature a final 2

Even though fans will not know what the final Tribal Council will look like until finale night, some clues indicate a final two does happen. One Survivor sleuth discovered a video that may suggest there is a final two in season 41 and posted it in a Reddit thread on the spoilers page.

“I was watching an exit interview from Shan [Smith] and I suddenly noticed Shan say that people couldn’t beat her at the final two,” the Reddit user said. “Maybe there are only two people at the [final Tribal Council], not three?”

In the ET Canada interview, Shan said, “I think Ricard [Foyé] knew that, even if he sat beside me in final two, he wasn’t going to win. Deshawn [Radden] knew the same thing, I think.”

Another Reddit user replied to the thread, “I’ve found it quite interesting that there have also been players in the episodes mentioning final two as well. I haven’t seen people really point it out, but last episode alone I believe Ricard made a comment about final two.”

The fans on the Survivor spoilers Reddit page think that a final two in the season 41 finale is a reasonable possibility. It definitely would shake up the game and make the contestants rethink their strategies.

When is the last time ‘Survivor’ had a final 2?

For the first 12 seasons, Survivor used the final two model. Then, in season 13, the CBS reality competition series introduced the concept of a final three. Since then, only three seasons have included a final two over a final three.

The last time Survivor had a final two was in season 28, Survivor: Cagayan. And its final Tribal Council is one that many fans remember. Woo Hwang chose Tony Vlachos to join him in the final two instead of Kass McQuillen. Many fans believed that Woo would have won if he took Kass, but he chose loyalty over money.

In the Survivor spoilers Reddit thread, one fan wrote, “I would die for another final two [in season 41]. Seven years since the infamous scene of Woo handing Tony $3mil is a long time.”
