‘Survivor’ Star Kass McQuillen Accuses Production of Helping Tony Vlachos Win an Individual Immunity Challenge
Survivor: Cagayan winner Tony Vlachos is currently having one of the best seasons, and fans are loving his gameplay. From his hilarious antics to the epic blindside last week, he’s a favorite to win. After another incredible performance, former Cagayan contestant Chaos Kass McQuillen took to Twitter to accuse production of helping Tony win an individual immunity challenge.

Tony Vlachos won his third individual immunity win
After the remaining eight contestants returned from Tribal Council, Sarah Lacina blew up at her Cops-R-Us partner, Tony Vlachos, for blindsiding her and eliminating close ally, Sophie Clarke.
Realizing that Tony had taken control of the game, Kim Spradlin-Wolfe gathered the troops and tried to formulate a plan to take down the Cagayan winner.
On the other hand, Tony and Sarah wanted to prove their loyalty to Ben Driebergen by eliminating his rival, Jeremy Collins. During the individual immunity challenge where a woman and a male could win safety, Jeremy, Ben, and Sarah quickly fell.
Then, Michele Fitzgerald, Nick Wilson, and Kim chose to step down for peanut butter and cookies, giving Denise Stapley and Tony the win as well as two fire tokens. Once they back to camp, Ben told the Cagayan champ about Kim’s brewing plan to blindside him.
Therefore, he struck first and sent the One World winner to the Edge of Extinction.
Kass McQuillen accuses production of helping Tony Vlachos win
The California-based attorney competed alongside Tony in Season 28, Cagayan. The two never saw eye to eye as Kass became irritated with the police officer’s flip-flopping game.
She also plotted against him for nearly half the season but lasted until the final three when Woo Hwang took Tony to the Final Tribal Council over her. Despite her feelings regarding Tony’s game, she cast her vote for him to win.
After Survivor 40: Winners at War Episode 12 aired, the two-time contestant took to Twitter to accuse the production crew of assisting Tony with his third back-to-back immunity win.
She noticed that her former Cagayan co-star was “the only person with a bent elbow in that challenge.” While one follower thought the New Jersey-based police officer “outsmarted” everyone, Kass, believes the Survivor crew had something to do with it.
Fans debate if production helped Tony Vlachos
Some Reddit users agreed with Kass’ theory as they also noticed that Tony’s “arm thing had way more slack than anyone else.” However, many disagreed because Nick, the only guy who could have beaten Tony as Jeremy and Ben fell earlier, quit for a fire token and peanut butter.
Another noticed his shoulder was “noticeably lower than the raised one,” giving him “more room to bend his elbow.” However, they believe that it could have been Tony’s strategy.
Other viewers don’t think production helped the police officer specifically in the challenge. However, they do find it suspicious that this season included an immunity challenge with two winners at the final eight with five of the castaways potentially immune, considering the advantages.
Survivor 40: Winners at War airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
