Doubt enters Katherine’s mind in “Questions of Trust,” which began streaming on March 11, 2022, according to Apple TV. After an FBI agent tells her Martin Copeland (Robert Glenister), a man she’s worked closely with for years, has connections to the suspects in her son’s disappearance.

Initially, she calls him the only person she can trust. But soon she finds herself wondering if he hasn’t always been honest. Eventually, Katherine asks Martin if there’s anything she needs to know.

His reply? “I told you everything you need to know,” followed closely by, “There’s nothing for you to worry about.” Despite his reassurances, Katherine doesn’t trust Martin’s telling her the whole story.

Later, going against Martin’s advice, Katherine gives an interview that puts the future of her company in jeopardy.

In a London coffee shop, Eddie Walker’s (Tom Rhys Harries) secret is revealed. Aadesh overhears Eddie making a phone call to the police.

Eddie cuts the call short before pleading with Aadesh to keep the information between them. He says he’s working undercover for Katherine and that it’s his job to find out who took her son, Leo Newman (Gerran Howell).

After nearly causing a scene in the coffee shop — remember they’re not supposed to draw attention to themselves — Aadesh and Eddie continue their conversation outside. Ultimately, Aadesh takes Eddie’s phone and tells him if he’s telling the truth then the last number he dialed should be Katherine’s.

Their conversation is cut short when Sean Tilson (Elyes Gabel) shows up. Eddie, Aadesh, Tara McAllister (Elizabeth Henstridge), and Natalie Thompson (Georgina Campbell) have been waiting for him to show up in Washington Square Park.

When he finally does, he pats them down while giving them each a big hug. When Sean gets to Aadesh he finds the phone. Aadesh makes up a story as to why he has it. But it doesn’t matter. He destroys it, and in doing so, cuts off one of the ways the police tracks the group.

“Questions of Trust” ends with what Sean and the others have been waiting for, standing face-to-face with Martin. They return to the hotel where Leo Newman disappeared and, thanks to Aadesh’s computer skills, pull Martin into a room undetected.

They sit Martin down and, with a gun pointed at him, ask why he’s doing this to them. He says it seems to him they don’t even trust each other.

Finally, in the last seconds of the episode, something happens. There’s a loud bang. Natalie has shot Martin. He appears to be dead.

The reason? Moments before Martin said he was the one who sent the plane to pick them up. Meaning, at least in Natalie’s mind, he was responsible for the death of her sister Monique (Lydia West).

Suspicion is streaming on AppleTV+. A new episode drops every Friday.
