According to Cosmopolitan, Davino owns restaurants in Chicago, and his family owns the pizza restaurant Pompei. The two have reportedly dated since 2018, marking four years together in 2022. They were first photographed together in October 2018 while in attendance at an InStyle and Kate Spade dinner in Los Angeles. Since that photograph, they’ve been seen in photos together ever since. Though it doesn’t appear that Davino has social media, and Sweeney’s Instagram doesn’t contain photos of her boyfriend, either.
Sweeney spoke to Cosmopolitan about dating. “I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest,” she said, adding that she looks for “a best friend. I need to be able to be with someone who I can literally hang out with 24/7 and never get sick of and we laugh every single day.”

“The acting-out Syd tried to find love through boys,” Sweeney explained. “I got myself into sometimes really unfortunate and even dangerous relationships.”
Also in the interview, she added, “I never talk about it, but I have a very healthy, very steady personal life.”

“I would love to share my normal life so that people can see that it’s not all glamour,” she told Cosmopolitan. “But I can’t because one, I like my privacy, and two, social media is another platform for business. Sharing my life on it could go against the integrity of the business and brand I’m trying to create.”
