Tamar Braxton, Monica, and Sevyn Streeter performed at the event, which was hosted by Atlanta radio DJ Niecy Shaw, who entertained the lively crowd. The concert, known to fans as the Salute to the Ladies of the Divine 9, celebrated the legacy and sisterhood of esteemed HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) sororities, including Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho. Notably, Tamar Braxton’s sisters, Traci Braxton and Towanda Braxton, are members of Zeta Phi Beta, reports Watch the Yard. Her other sister, Trina Braxton, is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha.
As Tamar celebrated the legacy of her sisters’ Greek organization and others, she sang “All the Way Home,” “My Man,” “Love and War,” and “Miss Your Kiss.” The 47-year-old even brought out her sister, Toni Braxton, on stage to sing, too. Tamar, who possessed an impressive five-octave vocal range, has continued to build her musical legacy. She released “Changed” in 2023 and “Notice Me” in 2024.

In two and a half years, Tamar will turn 50 years old, making this sexy look even more head-turning. Tamar accessorized with a gold watch and two thick chains around her neck. The mother of one added large gold hoops, several gold rings, and black aviator sunglasses to her designer look.
The former Braxton Family Values star crimped her long, shiny hair and added pink lipstick. With glowing skin and a big smile, Tamar looked radiant at the special event.
