Report says Braxton family finds David Adefeso’s behavior suspicious
TMZ released Adefeso’s emotional 911 call after finding Tamar unresponsive. During the call, Adefeso mentions Tamar’s issues with her network We TV. He explains the network “did something earlier today,” speaking of the release of the trailer for Tamar’s upcoming spinoff Get Ya Life.
Adefeso says Tamar became upset after the trailer dropped and hints to reports of Tamar wanting out of her contract with We TV being true. Adefeso cries, “When are you ever really free,” during the call.
Days earlier, an email Tamar sent We TV slamming the network for exploiting her family drama and her personal trauma was leaked. In the letter, Tamar writes that she feels suffocated by the network and wants out.

According to TMZ, Tamar’s family finds Adefeso’s mention of Tamar’s issues with We TV alarming amid him trying to aid her. A source claiming to be close to the situation told the media outlet that Tamar’s family feels she’s changed since dating Adefeso.
The source alleges the Braxton family believes Adefeso is too involved in Tamar’s business affairs and that he was upset at his portrayal in the trailer, sending an already vulnerable Tamar on a spiral. Adefeso’s behavior to many comes off as controlling, per TMZ.
One scene in the trailer shows producers planning to barge into a room during a heated argument between Tamar and Adefeso after overhearing Tamar yell, “David, stop!”
Tamar’s sister Towanda slammed reports, calling out TMZ in an Instagram message.
“@TMZ_TV please stop having people speak on behalf of the family. Not one person from the family has spoken. Be careful what you put out @TMZ_TV stop spreading lies…I’m speaking on behalf of the family,” she wrote.

Adefeso and Tamar have been dating for two years. The couple lives together, along with Tamar’s seven-year-old son from her previous marriage to Vincent Herbert. The Braxton family has not released any official statements and prefers to handle the matter privately.
