Tamar Braxton’s Ex, David Adefeso, Files a Cease and Desist Against the Singer
Tamar Braxton’s breakup with David Adefeso has been difficult for the Love & War singer. Aside from allegations of domestic violence, Braxton accused Adefeso of cheating. Adefeso is denying he was unfaithful to Braxton. He’s fired off a cease and desist to the reality star as a result of her recent comments.

Media personality Jessica Woo Tweeted Braxton her love of Braxton’s relationship with Adefeso.
“It ain’t none of my business but… I really liked your fiancé,” Woo wrote. “He was a good man Savanah! But filming that show with you know who wasn’t a good idea for you two. Maybe God can fix that? If not, I pray God sends you your Boaz.”
Braxton shot down any chance of a reconciliation, alleging her ex cheated on her.
“He was cheating with his then assistant now CFO since 2019 Jessica…God fixed it,” Braxton wrote back.

Rumors about Adefeso cheating hit the net around the time Braxton and Adefeso’s relationship began to unravel. Hollywood Unlocked reported that a source came forward claiming Adefeso was cheating with his employee while with Braxton.
The gossip site posted photos of Adefeso with the woman together on a yacht. Per the report, Adefeso was using his fame from his relationship with Braxton to expand his financial business.
Braxton’s family were said to not be fans of Adefeso’s. According to multiple media reports, the Braxton family believed he was controlling and too involved in Braxton’s business decisions. They also reportedly felt Adefeso was interested in fame.
David Adefeso accuses Tamar Braxton of ruining his reputation
Per TMZ, Adefeso filed a cease and desist off at his ex demanding that she stop lying about their relationship. He claims Braxton damaged his reputation by alleging infidelity, saying it paints him in an unflattering light. Adefeso is a successful financial businessman.
Per Adefeso, Braxton knows she’s lying. He wants a retraction of her statement. He tells TMZ that he never even looked at another woman while they dated. Adefeso alleges Braxton “continues to make fabricated accusations about our relationship and has now created a false narrative of an affair that never occurred.”

This isn’t the first time Adefeso took legal action against Braxton. Shortly after their August 2020 breakup, Adefeso filed for a restraining order claiming he was the victim of domestic abuse. He later took to Instagram in an emotional video, alleging Braxton attacked him while he was driving and nearly caused him to lose control of his vehicle.
His restraining order request details multiple incidents of alleged abuse from Braxton, as well as threats he says were made to his life. Braxton denies such ever took place. Her camp also shot back at Adefeso alleging he was the aggressor during the incident in question.
Despite being granted the restraining order, a judge dismissed the case in March 2021 when both Adefeso and Braxton did not appear in court.
