Around the same time as Haack’s announcement, Tarek El Moussa, her ex-husband and former Flip or Flop co-star, asked fans if he should work with his new wife, Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young. On Apr. 5, E! News reported Christina Haack and Joshua Hall got married in a private ceremony. The couple got engaged in September 2021 after going public with their relationship in July.
On Apr. 7, Flip or Flop star Christina Haack revealed that she has a brand new show coming to HGTV. She announced via Instagram that she has been working on a series called Christina in the Country that will air in “late 2022.” And fans of Christina on the Coast don’t need to worry – the upcoming fourth season of the show is currently filming.
“Excited to share what we’ve been working on behind the scenes. ‘Christina In The Country’ has officially been picked up by @hgtv for 6 episodes,” Haack wrote. “Now I have the best of both worlds…the coast and the country!”
She added, “It feels good to do what I love with who I love. Josh and I have the most creative / supportive production partners and can’t wait to create some fun content.”

On Apr. 6, the Flipping 101 star shared an Instagram photo of himself and the Selling Sunset star. “My incredible wife, @heatherraeyoung, is just as smart and driven as she is beautiful and kind:) I got really lucky, she’s honestly the perfect match for me❤️,” El Moussa captioned the picture.
“We had an idea…but wanted your opinion. Should Heather and I work on a flip together?” he asked. “If so, what style of house could you imagine us doing together? Can’t wait to hear!:)”
Fans advised the ‘Flip or Flop’ star to keep his relationship with Heather Rae Young separate from his work
Many of Tarek El Moussa’s fans advised him not to work with his wife Heather. They speculated that flipping a house with the Selling Sunset star would draw unfair comparisons to his ex, Christina Haack.
“No, the comparisons would not be fair to either your wife/ex,” one fan wrote in the comments section of El Moussa’s post. “They are both great at what they do, let them shine on their own.”
Another fan echoed the sentiment by writing, “Only if Heather is ready to be compared to Cristina in every single decision she makes along this flip. I’m sorry but it’s a no from me. Flipping is something you did with your ex and it ended.”
And another fan commented, “Just my opinion… I don’t think so. *Been there Done [sic] that!!* You all should continue to do your own thing.”
