Tarek El Moussa Reportedly Asked for New Crew on ‘Flip or Flip’ Spinoff After Christina Haack Drama Leaked
Tarek El Moussa is reportedly making some changes on his Flip or Flop spinoff show. The HGTV star allegedly flipped out on his ex Christina Haack on the set of their hit show. After news broke to the media, El Moussa has requested a change in his crew on his other show called Flipping 101 to prevent any more drama leaks from getting to the press.

Things reportedly got tense between El Moussa and his Flip or Flop co-star, who also happens to be his ex-wife. Now that the flipper has started filming another season of his spinoff show, he has put in a request to get a new crew. TMZ is reporting that El Moussa was unhappy that drama from the set of his flagship show was leaked to the media.
A source told the publication that he asked the production company behind his show to remove any staff from his spinoff show that worked on Flip or Flop the day that he had the outburst. In doing so, El Moussa wants to prevent any other stories tipped to the press.
Another tipster told TMZ that El Moussa doesn’t want any details of his wedding to fiancee Heather Rae Young to leak to the tabloids. The couple seemingly wants to keep everything under wraps and want to keep it a surprise to viewers of the show. In the end, it was reported that the production company honored El Moussa’s request.
What did Tarek El Moussa allegedly do to Christina Haack?
It was TMZ who first broke the news about drama on the set of Flip or Flop involving the stars. The publication reported that Haack signaled El Moussa to start filming and all hell broke loose. Sources on the set claim that this was not the first outburst that they witness.
“Look at me, look at me, look at me. It’s called winning,” is what El Moussa allegedly told Haack at one point.
In addition, El Moussa launched harsh attacks toward the mother of his two children. The Flipping 101 host reportedly “lost his cool and went on a verbal tirade” and claimed his wife-to-be was “hotter and richer” than Haack. He also called the Christina on the Coast host a “washed-up loser.”
Tarek El Moussa ‘remorseful’
After the alleged verbal tirade El Moussa had toward Haack and subsequently leaked to the media, the builder was reportedly remorseful about what transpired. People reported that a source advised them that the altercation on the set of Flip or Flop was real. The HGTV show was shaken by the tense moment between the former couple.
“They did get into a disagreement. Tarek lashed out and he’s super remorseful,” the source said. “They’re exes who share a history and children and a workplace, but outside of co-parenting, they’re not friends.”
Despite getting a divorce in 2016, El Moussa and Haack continue to film Flip or Flop together. El Moussa now has the Flipping 101 spinoff where he advises first-time flippers on how to be successful in the business. Meanwhile, Haack has her own show called Christina on the Coast where she helps her friends and acquaintances renovate spaces in their homes.
