Heather Rae Young and Tarek El Moussa met on July 4, 2019, the two stars quickly moved in together after embarking on a whirlwind romance. Their wedding, which took place on Oct. 23, 2021, was televised in a Discovery+ special titled Tarek and Heather: The Big I Do.
The couple frequently shares loved-up posts on social media about their life together. On Mar. 23, Tarek El Moussa posted an Instagram tribute to his wife celebrating their 5-month wedding anniversary.
He gushed about the Selling Sunset star in his caption, writing that he knew he wanted to marry Young from “the second” he saw her. Among other words of praise, he called his wife “unbelievably stunning” and “loving, caring, and incredible.”
“The best part about our relationship is I fall more and more in love with her every day,” El Moussa wrote. “She’s just so special to me and I can’t thank her enough for bringing hope and love back into my life.”
The Flip or Flop star concluded, “So…happy 5 month anniversary to my beautiful wife. When we first got together and moved in together after a week, people said we were crazy and it wouldn’t last. They were wrong ❤️”

It looks like Tarek El Moussa is interested in working with his new bride, Heather Rae Young, on a real estate project. On Apr. 7, El Moussa shared an Instagram post asking fans if he and his wife should flip a house together.
“My incredible wife, @heatherraeyoung, is just as smart and driven as she is beautiful and kind:) I got really lucky, she’s honestly the perfect match for me❤️,” El Moussa captioned a smiling photo of himself and Young.
“We had an idea…but wanted your opinion. Should Heather and I work on a flip together?” he asked. “If so, what style of house could you imagine us doing together? Can’t wait to hear!:)”
Fans were not thrilled by the idea of the two reality stars working on a house flipping project together
Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young’s fans seemed highly opposed to the idea of the couple working on a house flipping project together. They sounded off in the comments section of El Moussa’s post to answer his question.
“I would say keep your relationship out of the workplace,” one fan said, while another wrote, “No, you both need to keep your own careers separate.”
Another fan chimed in, “Nooo. I don’t think you guys should work on a flip together. You do well keeping it separate. Why mess with the system you have?”
One fan suggested it would be bad for their relationship, since El Moussa’s marriage to his Flip or Flop co-star Christina Haack ended in divorce. “Ummm nnnnoooo look at the track records of couples that work together on tv (you included).”
