Taylor Swift’s net worth reached new heights in 2024. The pop star’s bottom line stands at an estimated $1.6 billion, making her the wealthiest female singer in the world.

And while the Eras tour pushed Swift into billionaire status, her decades-long career has steadily built up her net worth. The singer also hasn’t been shy about showing off her wealth and proving that she’s worth every penny of the $1.6 billion.

Taylor Swift’s 90-year-old mansion cost $25 million

Celebrity real estate is an easy way to measure a star’s net worth. Elaborate mansions and multiple homes let celebrities like Taylor Swift flaunt their wealth.

In Swift’s case, the best example may be the nearly century-old mansion she purchased in September 25. Swift paid $25 million for the Samuel Goldwyn Estate in Beverly Hills, California, and has since spent years renovating the former home of film legend Samuel Goldwyn.

Swift’s California home features four bedrooms, a guest suite, and a curved patio sitting area along with a swimming pool, tennis court, and a cabana. It’s part of a real estate portfolio that includes Swift’s residences in Nashville, Tennessee, New York City, and Rhode Island.

Inside Taylor Swift’s private jets

Like any billionaire, Taylor Swift travels in style. That includes only flying in her private jets as she crisscrosses the globe for concert tours, vacations, and boyfriend Travis Kelce’s football games.

In 2011, she purchased a Dassault-Breguet Mystere Falcon 900. According to StyleCaster, Swift paid $40 million for the plane.

Swift sold the Falcon 900 in January 2024 and began flying in her other private jet, a Dassault 7X. The Dassault can carry up to 16 passengers and is designed for longer flights. A pre-owned craft typically costs between $18-20 million.

Swift’s private jets may show off her wealth, but many critics argue her jet use has become excessive over the past few years. The singer’s carbon footprint far exceeded that of any other celebrity.

Taylor Swift’s $30 million security bill

How do you protect a billion-dollar asset? Spend $30 million, if you’re Taylor Swift.

According to an Eras tour source, Swift paid upwards of $30 million for security during the tour. Considering the concert series was estimated to generate over $4 billion, that security tab is just a drop in the bucket.

The source told The Sun Swift hired 20 people to provide security for the singer and her team during the tour’s European leg. Each security personnel earned $1,100 daily for 100 days of the tour. Security camera rentals, walkie-talkies, clothing, monitors, and associated travel costs were added to the bill.

It’s a small price to pay for a billionaire like Taylor Swift to feel secure. Swift’s security measures came to light following an alleged terrorist attack plot that forced her to cancel three shows in Vienna, Austria.
