But in a recent conversation with Paul McCartney for Rolling Stone, Swift shared a little more about her relationship with Alwyn. The songwriter revealed that her boyfriend “absolutely” sympathizes with her about the media circus that often surrounds her life. But she also revealed that being with the actor has allowed her to restructure the way she lives her life to make it more private.

“But I think that in knowing him and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real-life and less like just a storyline to be commented on in tabloids,” Swift shared about how being with Alwyn has shifted her perspective. “Whether that’s deciding where to live, who to hang out with, when to not take a picture — the idea of privacy feels so strange to try to explain, but it’s really just trying to find bits of normalcy.”
While Swift’s life will likely never be completely normal, it’s great that she’s created something with Alwyn that feels like it belongs to her exclusively. We’re sure her fans are happy she’s found a partner despite not knowing the details of their relationship.
