Speculation hit when photos showed the couple together in public. And Swift solidified the rumors by attending Kelce’s games and the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2024, Kelce continued to show his undying support for Swift by attending “The Eras Tour” shows and making a guest appearance on stage at her show in London.
Rumors are swirling that Swift and Kelce might be ready to take the next step in their relationship. Some sources claim the couple already knows where they want to get married. As for their wedding parties, rumors suggest that Swift may choose her good friend, model Cara Delevingne, as her maid of honor.
“Taylor adores Cara,” a source told Life & Style. “She was one of the people really pulling for her when she went through her hard time, and she’s never forgotten that. There’s a lot of mutual respect between them. Cara really looks up to her and is so in awe of all that she’s achieved.”
The insider added that Swift knows Delevingne as one of her “favorite people.” Kelce should get to know Delevingne considering Swift’s close friendship with her.
“Taylor’s going to have a big decision to make when it comes to choosing her maid of honor,” the source continued. “Everyone’s assuming it will be Blake Lively, but the way things are shaping up these days, Cara’s a frontrunner.”

Taylor Swift might be ready to hear wedding bells ring with Travis Kelce. Swift has never been engaged or married, though she had a six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn. Now that she’s found Kelce, a source told Life & Style that she “doesn’t want to waste more time” for an engagement.
“Taylor is head over heels in love with Travis,” the insider said in July 2024. “She doesn’t want to waste more time, so she needs to make sure they’re on the same page about getting married.”
The insider added that Swift was waiting for Alwyn to propose during their relationship. However, he “was dragging his feet,” causing her to walk away.
“She’s not expecting a proposal tomorrow, but she does want to know he’s as serious as she is when it comes to marriage,” the insider continued.
Should fans expect a 2024 engagement?
So, will Travis Kelce get down on one knee for Taylor Swift in 2024? A source told Us Weekly that Kelce currently has “no plans” for a proposal.
“Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon,” the source claimed. “It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.”
While Kelce “cares very deeply” for Swift, he’s allegedly “just not there yet.” With this in mind, it seems a 2024 proposal seems unlikely.
