Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” broke worldwide records as the highest-grossing music tour ever. Fans can’t get enough of Swift’s discography, and she continues to wow her fans by singing new songs from The Tortured Poets Department and bringing her famous boyfriend, Travis Kelce, on stage. So, what will Swifties do when Swift’s tour ends in 2024? According to sources, she plans on hitting the road again in 2026.

Taylor Swift is allegedly planning a new tour in 2026, a source says

Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” began on March 17, 2023, and has taken the world by storm. Swifties everywhere clamored for tickets and gathered outside stadiums to hear the three-hour concert. Unfortunately, all great things must come to an end. However, fans won’t have to wait too long for another tour. A source told DailyMail.com that Swift plans to release new music in 2025 and debut a new tour in 2026.

“Taylor is working on a new record which is due out in 2025, followed by a new tour in 2026,” the insider alleged. “She is heavily inspired by all the new experiences she is having on ‘The Eras Tour’ and has been quietly writing songs backstage.”

Swift’s new music could address her alleged feud with Charli XCX. Charlie XCX released her album, Brat, in June 2024, and it topped the charts. However, Swift reclaimed her top spot after releasing UK-exclusive versions of The Tortured Poets Department. The new versions of the songs were pulled after a week, leading some fans to believe that Swift did this to stay at the top of the charts.

The source that spoke to DailyMail says Swift “loves” Charli XCX and has no ill will toward the artist. “Contrary to what some say, she loves artists like Charli XCX, so those who have heard some of the ideas say she is paying attention to what is hot right now and will use that as inspiration,” they added.

Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” ends in December 2024.

“This has definitely been the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life this forth,” Swift told her fans during the 100th show of her tour, according to a clip posted to X.

She has several months of touring to do before it all comes to a close. However, fans wonder what’s next for her between the end of her current tour and the start of her next one.

Swift may keep a low profile until she possibly releases new music in 2025. She and Travis Kelce will continue to foster their relationship as he plays for the Kansas City Chiefs and expands his Hollywood career. Rumors in 2024 suggested the couple was looking at European properties to buy. Additional rumors suggested Kelce and Swift may be moving toward an engagement.

Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance on “The Eras Tour” in London, and the crowd went wild. Kelce’s first appearance on Taylor Swift’s tour was a huge success. It seems possible that Swift will incorporate her boyfriend into her shows in the future.

“Taylor and Travis have recently discussed Travis making an appearance onstage at ‘The Eras Tour’ when timing was right, and they finally made it happen,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “Travis was so excited to support Taylor onstage, and Taylor couldn’t be happier to feature him, especially during such a fun, pivotal scene in the show.”

The source added that Kelce “didn’t miss a beat” despite only having one rehearsal night. “Taylor was beaming from ear to ear as Travis took on the dapper role,” they said. “The two are hoping he can make a cameo again in the future.”
