Taylor Swift Plans to ‘Hibernate’ With Travis Kelce in New York City as the Year Ends, Source Says
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are going the distance with their romance in 2024. The couple has seemingly gotten more serious about their future as they continue to show up for each other at public events. So, what does Swift and Kelce’s end of 2024 look like with Swift finishing “The Eras Tour”? Here’s what a source said about the couple hiding in New York City during winter.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have laid-back plans for the end of 2024, a source says
Taylor Swift has been notoriously private about her relationships in the past. She and her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, rarely publicly discussed their six-year relationship. However, Swift and Travis Kelce treat their relationship much differently. While the couple only started dating in 2023, they’re unafraid to show outward affection, leading to engagement rumors.
Swift and Kelce had a hectic year, with Swift finishing “The Eras Tour” in December 2024. According to a source, the remainder of 2024 into 2025 will involve a lot of relaxation in New York City.
“Taylor plans to stay in and hibernate [with Travis] for a while,” a source told Us Weekly. “They want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple.”
Another source added, “Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [that’s when] the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play. They will learn so much about each other.”
While fans are looking forward to a possible engagement, Kelce reportedly isn’t rushing to get down on one knee by the end of the year. “Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” the second noted. “That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will reportedly spend Christmas together
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce likely won’t share their 2024 holiday plans with the public. However, a source told Us Weekly that Swift plans on hosting Christmas for her and Kelce’s families.
Fans didn’t expect Swift and Kelce to spend Thanksgiving together in 2024, especially after Donna Kelce noted that she wouldn’t see Swift on the November holiday. However, Swift and her family hosted the Kansas City Chiefs star’s family for a Thanksgiving feast in Nashville before Kelce went and played football against the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday, Nov. 29.
“Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving together with their families,” a source told People. “It’s the first Thanksgiving they celebrated together.”
Another source told Page Six that it was “really important” for the couple to have the holiday together.
“It was really important to Taylor and Travis to spend Thanksgiving together this year since they’ve never been able to before,” the insider explained. “They knew it would take some coordination, but they’re so grateful they were able to pull it off.”
The Kansas City Chiefs star’s love has ‘changed’ the pop star, a source says
Travis Kelce’s love has allegedly “changed” Taylor Swift, a source told Life & Style.
“Taylor has always been a strong woman but she’s also battled self-doubt and feared criticism like anyone else,” the source explained. “She says getting older and being in a healthy, loving relationship has allowed her to let go of a lot of that.”
The insider added that Swift wants to spend her life by Kelce’s side, and “friends expect an engagement announcement to come soon.” However, this contradicts what a source told Us Weekly about the couple not wanting to rush. Fans will likely have to wait until 2025 or later for any news on an engagement.
