Taylor Swift Is Ready for Post-Tour ‘Era’ With Travis Kelce Amid ‘Serious Conversations’ About Their Future
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour may be winding down, but another era’s just beginning. The Grammy winner is reportedly looking forward to being done with touring so she can focus on the next chapter—err, era—of her life with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Taylor’s ‘ready for the next era of her life’ with Travis
So long, Eras Tour, and hello to a new era with Kelce. Swift, 34, is, per Us Weekly, in a good place with her Kansas City Chiefs tight-end boyfriend. Not even a breakup plan, which Kelce’s camp dubbed “entirely false and fabricated,” has bothered them.
“They’ve built a lot of trust. They both knew what they signed up for and navigated it well,” a source said. “They’re in love and don’t care what others think.” Instead, Swift’s looking ahead to the end of her hugely successful tour, which concludes in December 2024, shortly before she turns 35. And, more importantly, what it will mean for her and Kelce’s relationship.
“Taylor and Travis are very committed and serious about their future,” they said. “Taylor is ready for the next era of her life. She knows it will be special.”
“She’s looking forward to taking a break and relaxing. She’s exhausted,” the source said, noting “the plan for 2025” is to focus on herself and her relationship. “Taylor’s really eager to start the next chapter with Travis.”
Swift and Kelce are ‘on the same page’ about what’s next in their relationship
According to Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, their relationship is “still “really, really new.” But apparently, that hasn’t stopped the two from having “serious conversations.” Kelce and Swift have reportedly discussed the timeline surrounding a potential engagement and children.
“Taylor has expressed how excited she is to settle down after her tour concludes,” an insider said, noting she and Kelce are “on the same page” about wanting it to happen relatively soon.
“They both see marriage as something they want sooner rather than later,” a second source said. “And they both want kids. Taylor has always [been excited by] the idea of marriage and starting a family. She just hadn’t found The One until now.”
Meanwhile, Kelce has “dropped hints to those close to him” that he’s thought about proposing. There have also been reports he’s already found an engagement ring for the “Fortnight” singer.
Taylor Swift may go to the Kelce Car Jam on Travis’ birthday
Kelce turns 35 on Oct. 5, 2024. The three-time Super Bowl winner is set to be at home in Kansas City, Missouri, on the big day. But it won’t be all private celebrations.
He’s hosting Kelce Car Jam, an “outdoor block party,” on his birthday, where proceeds will benefit his 87 and Running non-profit (via Eventbrite). The event will include some of his own cars (and hopefully the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible he and Swift left a September 2023 Chiefs game in).
There’s also the possibility Swift could show up to support her boyfriend before going to Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 7, 2024. That day, Kelce and the Chiefs play the New Orleans Saints. After all, “she loves cheering Travis on and supporting him as much as he loves cheering her on.”
