Taylor Swift Reportedly Doesn’t Want to Be the ‘Center of Attention’ at the Super Bowl
Super Bowl LIX is Travis Kelce’s time to shine as far as Taylor Swift is concerned. The “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer reportedly wants the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to be in the spotlight, not her. That way she can “support” Kelce on his way to achieving his “dream.”

Super Bowl weekend is here. After attending the Grammy Awards, Swift wants to keep a low profile in New Orleans, La., come game time. The 35-year-old “loved” seeing Kelce win the Super Bowl in 2024, an insider told the U.S. Sun.
This time around, however, “Taylor doesn’t want to be the center of attention” at Caesars Superdome. She’s “excited” about watching her NFL star boyfriend play. But “she just wants to support Travis and help him focus on the game.”
The insider continued: “She wants Travis to enjoy his Super Bowl week experience and be at 110% for Sunday.” Meanwhile, she’s “dreaming about him making history and reaching another dream of his, winning another Super Bowl and making a three-peat.”
“He loves that she is super supportive, and he is the same with her, as they [have] got each other’s back whatever happens,” the source continued. “They love spending time together but also enjoy supporting each other to make history. They know when to step back for each other so they can focus and be fully prepared. Their understanding of what each other needs is fantastic.”
The plan, the insider added, is for Swift to arrive in New Orleans “a maximum of two days” before the game.
Jason Kelce confirmed Swift will be at the Super Bowl
While fans expect Swift to be at the Super Bowl—she was there last year, after all—her attendance didn’t get confirmed until Jason Kelce told People the Grammy winner will be in New Orleans for the big game.
“Yeah, I think everybody’s coming in,” the retired center for the Philadelphia Eagles said. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends.
“I mean, Trav always travels like, full,” the 37-year-old said. “Even when he’s in regular season mode…he’s always got a bunch of his friends there. It’s been this way his whole career.”
So, look out for the Kelce family—parents Donna and Ed, Jason and his wife, Kylie. And, who knows, maybe Swift will bring some of her own family, like she has at past games, to cheer on KC.
Taylor talked about her relationship with Travis being ‘public’ in 2023
Previously Swift discussed her and Kelce’s relationship being “public” in her 2023 Time Person of the Year interview.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she told the publication.
“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone,” she continued. “And we’re just proud of each other.”
Since then, she and the NFL star have cheered each other on during football season and the Eras Tour. Kelce attended many stops on Swift’s record-breaking tour. Meanwhile, the “Fortnight” singer has been in the stands at almost all of the Chiefs’ home games this season.
Kickoff for Super Bowl LIX is at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 9, 2025.
