Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez’s friendship

Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift have been friends for years. There have never been rumors of a falling out between the two stars, and they have remained consistently loyal to each other.

Swift even featured Gomez in her music video for the song “Bad Blood.” Although Gomez plays Swift’s nemesis in the video, the depiction couldn’t be further from the women’s real relationship.

In a 2009 interview with Seventeen, Gomez gushed about her bestie. “Every single problem I ever have is healable by Taylor Swift!” Gomez said. “If I ever I have an issue, Taylor has gone through it because she’s older than me, and she gives the most thought-out answers.

“And what I love about Taylor is that she does believe in the whole love story and Prince Charming and soul mates. Because of her, I haven’t lost faith. We literally talk every day.”

In 2018, nearly a decade later, Gomez continued to sing Swift’s praises. “The reason why she’s one of my best friends is because this person has never, ever judged me for a decision I’ve made,” Gomez said of Swift (via InStyle). “She’s always met me where I’ve been. She encouraged me when I had nothing to be encouraged about.”
