Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have accomplished careers of their own that demand a lot of their time. Swift’s “Eras Tour” started in March 2023 and will conclude in Canada in December 2024. Kelce was busy winning the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2024, and he’s back to practice for the next season. While the tight end has acting aspirations, he still wants to play football and get on the field to do what he does best.
As the year ends, Swift and Kelce might not see each other as much as they wish they could. A source told Life & Style that the couple is “so codependent” that they have trouble managing the distance.
“Taylor is especially freaked out because she’s always got this fear of other women trying to get at Travis hanging over her head,” the source said. “She trusts him, and he’s not done anything to make her worry, but the reality is he’s a guy and there’s always temptation.” The insider added that Kelce is “just as threatened” by the men surrounding Swift on tour.
“Obviously, he can’t skip out on training camp to follow her around, and he doesn’t have more than a day off at a time,” the insider continued. “She’s got tour dates in Europe for the next month before she gets a nice long break, so it would make sense for her to just stay put and finish all her dates and do long distance with him for a few weeks.”
The source added that Kelce and Swift are “freaking out,” and Swift is “talking about flying back to see him even if she has just a day or two off.”

Travis Kelce loves buying Taylor Swift lavish gifts. In the couple’s first year of dating, the tight end spent over $100,000 in presents to shower the pop queen with love. A source told The Sun that he’s at it again. Kelce spent $59,000 on seven items from German designer Jil Sander.
So, what did Kelce choose? The NFL star spent $3,790 on a sleeveless designer dress, $2,100 on a 100% wool shirt dress, $2,680 on a jacket, $800 on wool pants, $2,950 on a crossbody leather bag, and $3,650 on another coat, among other items.
“Travis misses Taylor a lot, and he knows that she is getting onto the last few weeks of the Eras tour in Europe,” the source said. “He knows her tastes so well now. She will have plenty to choose from when she watches him play in the NFL this fall.”
A previous source alleged that Taylor Swift has ‘separation anxiety’
This isn’t the first time fans have heard of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce feeling anxious about spending time apart. A source told Life & Style that Swift felt “anxious” with “separation anxiety” when she couldn’t see Kelce for extended periods.
“They’re going to be facing their longest time apart,” the insider claimed in May 2024. “He’ll make some trips to see her, but she can’t be leaving tour to see him, so she’s got to leave this all up to him, and it’s making her very anxious. Her separation anxiety has kicked in big time, and it’s very worrisome for friends who think it’s a bad sign that she’s so panicked about having to have time apart from him.”
