Taylor Swift is one of the most celebrated artists in the world, a star who rose to fame when she was just a young teenager. Swift, who began her career as a country artist, earned acclaim during her early years in the business with songs like “Tim McGraw,” “Teardrops on My Guitar,” and “Our Song.”

Over the years, Swift expanded into other genres, releasing pop tunes and ballads that defied classification. In particular, Swift’s 2014 hit “Blank Space” became a chart-topping phenomenon, and it remains one of her most beloved songs. For fans who have a special affinity for the song, and who happen to have an extra $7 million lying around, they can purchase the iconic mansion that the “Blank Space” music video was filmed in — and forever own a very special piece of Swift history.

The mansion in Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space’ music video made waves

In 2014, Swift released the music video for her song “Blank Space,” a song that told a fascinating story. The fan-favorite song was embellished by some truly fabulous trappings, and in the video, Swift can be seen playing house with a handsome model named Sean O’Pry. Several of the music video’s biggest scenes took place in the mansion, including the dining room scene where Swift sings against the backdrop of a stunning chandelier, and a memorable moment when Swift flees the grounds, the massive steps of the property behind her.

While the life Swift lives in the video might not be readily available to fans, Swifties with enough cash on hand can actually buy the mansion where the “Blank Space” music video was filmed.

According to Insider, Winfield Hall, the mansion seen in the “Blank Space” music video, was recently put up for auction. The mansion was listed at $7 million, which is a massive sum — but a deal, considering that Winfield Hall was originally listed at nearly $20 million. The estate sits on over 16 acres of land and features a 15,000-square-foot clock tower, enough space for 11 cars, and a total of over 32,000 square feet.

At one point, according to New York Post, the home was considered to be the largest in the United States. With a ballroom, many formal rooms, a chess room, and a grand foyer to round out the mansion’s total of 56 rooms, Winfield Hall will provide plenty of space for diehard Swift fans to live out their music video fantasies.

The Long Island-based property might be out of reach for many Swift fans, but for those with some disposable cash to spend, there couldn’t be a better investment. The opulent home was built in 1917, designed by renowned architect C.P. H. Gilbert for Frank Winfield Woolworth. If the name Woolworth sounds familiar, it is because the entrepreneur was the founder of the original Woolworth store, which was similar to Dollar General or Dollar Tree in the ’20s and ’30s.

In particular, the butterfly staircase is estimated by the New York Post to have cost around $2 million to build. Currently, the property belongs to an architect named Denise Bettencourt, who purchased the mansion and the property in 1978. Ultimately, owning Winfield Hall might not make you a music star like Swift, but it will undoubtedly provide hours of romantic dreaming and luxurious lounging.
