Taylor Swift’s Next Tour ‘Hinges’ on How 2025 Goes for Her and Travis Kelce
It’s the end of an era for Taylor Swift. The Eras Tour is over. The “Fortnight” singer closed out a year-and-a-half of performances with one last show in Vancouver, Canada, on Dec. 8, 2024. But—good news, Swifties—the soon-to-be 35-year-old is reportedly already thinking about her next tour and album. Except there’s a catch. Swift reportedly wants to see what 2025 brings for her and boyfriend, Travis Kelce, before making plans.
Taylor Swift wants to tour in 2026, see how 2025 goes with Travis Kelce
A source told Us Weekly Swift is set to begin work on a new album as The Eras Tour ends. They even claimed she’s considering going back on tour in 2026. “She had such a great experience on Eras. She really wants to do it again,” the source said. “She loves being with all her fans; it inspires her.”
The pop star isn’t marking down tour dates in her calendar just yet. Why? Because she wants to focus on her relationship with Kelce. “Things can change. A lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis,” the insider explained. “She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”
Swift and the three-time Super Bowl champion met in the summer of 2023. Since then, they’ve shown their support for each other at concerts and Kansas City Chiefs games. While Swift wasn’t there to cheer Kelce on at the Chiefs Dec. 8 game, she very well could be there for their match-up against the Cleveland Browns on Dec. 15.
Taylor is celebrating Christmas with Travis and the Kelce family
As for what’s next for Swift, at least in the immediate future, she’s taking a break after The Eras Tour and enjoying the holiday season. A source told the outlet the Grammy winner plans to host Christmas with her and Kelce’s families.
(Sounds like it’ll be similar to Thanksgiving, which she hosted at her Nashville, Tennessee, home, per People.) Then it’s starting off 2025 quietly as she enters a new chapter—ahem, era—of life with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end she’s been looking forward to for some time.
Before that, however, there is, of course, Swift’s birthday. Just days after ending her record-breaking tour, on Dec. 13, 2024, she turns 35.
Swift has had ‘the best year of her life’ with Travis Kelce
Previously, an insider told Life & Style that Swift “has felt like she’s had the best year of her life. Her relationship with Travis has strengthened so many parts of her and made her more confident and fearless. Finding a love like this has changed Taylor.”
“With Travis, she doesn’t seem so concerned with what people are or aren’t seeing,” the source continued. “It’s refreshing for everyone to witness her being so much more relaxed and authentic.”
“Taylor’s embracing his unfiltered personality and letting loose herself more, too,” they added, sharing that “everyone in her life has noticed how different she seems with Travis.”
