‘Teen Mom 2:’ Everything We Know About Jenelle Evans’ Replacement, Jade Cline
Over the past month, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has made the news on several occasions. It started with her husband allegedly shooting her family’s dog, and now, she’s lost custody of her kids. MTV had already been having problems with Evans, and everything that’s happened has caused them to fire her from the show. The network recently announced her replacement: Jade Cline. Here’s everything we know about her.
‘Teen Mom 2’ recently fired Jenelle Evans after things heated up in her personal life
Evans’ life has not been easy. Since she was young, her relationship with her mother was always hot and cold. Plus, she didn’t have a relationship at all with the father of her oldest child, Jace. She eventually wed Courtland Rogers, but they divorced in 2014. She then met Nathan Griffith, with whom she shares her second child, but they didn’t work out, either. Then, she met and married David Eason, with whom she shares her third child, Ensley. But things ended up falling apart with her family when Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 over comments he made on social media in early 2018. Then, he allegedly shot and killed the couple’s dog this past May, which caused Evans to lose custody of her children. It also led MTV to fire her from the show.
MTV has brought former ‘Young & Pregnant’ Star Jade Cline into the cast
In Evans’ place is Jade Cline, who was formerly a star on the MTV show Young & Pregnant. Cline had her daughter, Kloie, when she was 19. The Teen Mom 2 reunion takes place on Monday, June 3, which is reportedly when MTV will make the announcement about Cline as the newest cast member. It doesn’t look like Young and Pregnant will be coming back to MTV. After seasons 1A and 1B of the show premiered, the cast members made Instagram announcements that made it seem like the show was over. Now, with Cline coming to Teen Mom 2, we’re even more certain the former show will not return. However, other sources have suggested the show hasn’t been cut yet. Either way, Cline won’t be back.
Cline is studying cosmetology
Right now, Cline is studying cosmetology, and she shows off some of her best hair and makeup looks through her Instagram account. Cline is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and it looks like her cosmetology business has been doing well, even though she’s only a student. She consistently posts pictures of women’s before and after hair looks and receives plenty of compliments on the work she does. It’s unclear if she’ll showcase any of her cosmetology career on the show, but she and Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska might bond over their careers (Houska also studied cosmetology).
Cline has an on-off relationship with her child’s father
When filming Young & Pregnant, Cline was frequently in an on and off relationship with her daughter’s father, Sean Austin. The couple tried to work things out, but they could never quite get on the same page and fought often. As of February 2019, the two were broken up, per her Instagram. It’s unclear if that has changed or if Austin will make appearances on the show, but it looks like he still has a relationship with his daughter. We’ll just have to watch the drama unfold on the next season of Teen Mom 2.
