Jenelle Evans and David Eason have had a tumultuous relationship. Sometimes the former Teen Mom 2 stars are together and other times, Evans makes it seem like she would never take Eason back. Though the two are on good terms again, fans are still concerned about Evans and her children given that Eason has a history of arrests.

Jenelle Evans lost custody of her kids

In 2019, Evans lost custody of her children because Eason shot the family dog in front of them.

“It was a situation where my daughter, her health, her safety was in danger,” Eason told People TV’s People Now.

“This was something that nobody wants to ever have to do. The dog was aggressive. Yes, she might not be huge or whatever, but you know when a dog bites a child on the face more than one time, then it should never be around the child again. If you give the dog up for adoption, one day it’s going to be around children again.”

He continued to address the incident in one of Evans’ YouTube videos titled, “I Have Something to Say.”

“She was a loving dog to me, but she was not loving toward our kids at all,” Eason said. “I loved the dog, the kids loved it. But she didn’t love the kids. Anytime we were taking a video of the kids riding their bikes, playing outside, we’d have to delete the video, not even be able to post it because she didn’t play nice. She would bite their feet, she would bite the wheels on her bicycle. She wasn’t always vicious, but she had a lot of vicious tendencies. She really was kinda mean. We put up with it for a long time.”

Jenelle Evans has accused David Eason of abuse before

Though Evans has recently claimed that Eason has never abused her or her children, recordings of a call made to police on Dec. 23, 2018, obtained by RadarOnline, tell a different story.

“My husband is freaking out,” Evans said on the call. “He’s outside freaking out. He’s smashing our front door trying to get inside.”

Evans sounded noticably upset while she made the call from the attic.

“My daughter is in the bedroom sleeping,” she continued. “He said I locked him out and took his phone. He was outside looking for his phone. He got upset over an article. You can hear him yelling. He’s outside smashing stuff.”

Evans told the operator that Eason had a gun on him and had broken her front door.

In June of this year, Eason was arrested on assault charges after hitting one of Evans’ friends with a gun.

Fans are concerned about David’s gun

Evans recently uploaded a video of her and Eason unloading and putting away groceries. When Eason turned around, it was clear that he had a gun holster strapped to his hip.

People quickly began commenting, wondering why Eason was allowed to still carry firearms.

“There isn’t any reason why he shouldn’t apparently,” Evans responded to one user.

Fans continued to comment on the gun, but Evans stopped responding.
