‘Teen Mom 2’: Fans Call Out Jenelle Evans for Getting a Dog with David Eason After He Killed Their Last Pet
For as long as fans have known Jenelle Evans, she’s been making questionable decisions. From her string of boyfriends to her run-ins with the law, Evans has literally grown up on television and made some of her worst choices in front of the world.
Recently, fans thought that things had turned around for Evans as she announced her split from her husband, David Eason. But now, the two are spending more time together and have even gotten a dog. While fans haven’t been too happy about Eason and Evans potentially getting back together, they are more concerned about the family’s new pet as Eason killed Evans’ old dog.
What happened to Jenelle’s last pet?
Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2 after reports started circulating that Eason killed her dog in front of her children. At first, Eason kept quiet about the incident but eventually, he came clean about what he had done.
“It was a situation where my daughter, her health, her safety was in danger,” he told People Now.
“This was something that nobody wants to ever have to do. The dog was aggressive. Yes, she might not be huge or whatever, but you know when a dog bites a child on the face more than one time, then it should never be around the child again. If you give the dog up for adoption, one day it’s going to be around children again.”
He killed the dog himself to save money.
“If you call the authorities at that point, the law says the dog has to be euthanized. I’m not going to pay anyone to euthanize my dog when I could do it myself.”
Eason claimed that the deed was hard for him to do.
“I mean, I loved that dog,” Eason said. “I still think about her every day. It’s really hard for me. A lot of people put me down for it, they hate me for it, but like I said it was not something I wanted to do.”
Jenelle Evans gets a new dog
Though they claim they are no longer together, Eason and Evans still spend quite a bit of time together. They were recently spotted buying a dog bed together at Walmart.
Evans took to Twitter to announce that she had gotten a new puppy.
“NEW BLOG: Meet Rosey,” she tweeted with a picture of the dog. “Since everyone’s asking… here’s our ‘new’ pet.”
Fans call Jenelle Evans out
Fans were not too happy to see Evans with a new animal after what happened to the last one.
“You guys shouldn’t be allowed to have pets,” one person tweeted.
“I’m actually sick to my stomach, thinking about the abuse that poor sweet fur baby is going to endure please Jenelle, don’t put that baby in the crosshairs of your toxic environment,” another person wrote. “PLEASE!!!!”
“No one’s asking,” another person responded. “We all know the truth already. You’re a terrible human being. I feel bad for your kids and all those animals being in your and David’s care.”
Mostly, people were concerned for the dog’s well-being.
“Everyone knows what happened 2 Nugget,” one user alleged. “But, not much has ever been said about one of the new dogs disappearing right after Jenelle left in OCT. Stay safe Rosey.”
Evans claims that she and Eason are not living together, so maybe the dog won’t have that much contact with him.
