‘Teen Mom 2’: Jenelle Evans Reveals What Led to David Eason’s Latest Arrest
Jenelle Evans and David Eason have been through the wringer as a couple. The former Teen Mom 2 stars break up and make up all the time. This time, the couple has called it quits and Eason has been arrested. Now, Evans is breaking her silence on what went down between her and Eason that led to Eason’s run-in with the police.
Jenelle Evans and David Eason’s rocky relationship
From the moment that Evans brought Eason onto Teen Mom 2, fans were concerned. They did not like the way that Eason treated her. Later, Eason got into some hot water for making homophobic comments on Twitter and was fired from the show. Evans was able to remain with the franchise until Eason killed the family’s dog in front of their children and the kids got removed from Evans’ custody.
The breakup to make up
In October of last year, fans started to wonder if Eason and Evans were still together as they hadn’t shown up on one another’s social media pages in a while. Then, Eason announced the split.
“I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions,” she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. “I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And a lot of it hasn’t been pretty. But it’s been my life.
“I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now,” she continued. “The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process.”
But just a few months later, she revealed that she and Eason had moved back in together and were trying to make things work again. She said that this time things were different and that the two were talking things out more this time around.
Why did David Eason get arrested?
According to Celebernation, Eason was recently arrested on assault charges after hitting a friend of Evans’ with a gun.
Evans had previously left Eason and this incident occurred when two of her friends went back to the shared home to get the former reality star’s things. While they were trying to gather Evans’ items, a fight broke out between Eason and a male friend of Evans’ over a set of keys to a truck and that was when Eason hit the male with the gun.
Eason has been released on unsecured bond.
“I’m upset how everything ended up and wish the situation was taken in a more serious manner,” Evans told the outlet. “I didn’t agree with the unsecured bond.”
Evans shared the Celebernation article on her Facebook with an update on how she was doing.
“#Teenmomog #breakingnews I just want to let the public, tabloids, and my fans know that IM OK, IM SAFE AND SO ARE THE KIDS!” she wrote. “I’m going to take a few days out to myself to gather my thoughts and focus on what’s going on so I won’t be on social media much. I love you all for the support that you all have shown me and I’ll be stronger and better than ever soon!”
