‘Teen Mom 2′: Kailyn Lowry Says She Moved To Be Closer To Chris Lopez–’I F*cked Up’
In a preview for an episode of Teen Mom 2, we hear Kailyn Lowry say she moved to be closer to Chris Lopez, the father of her son Lux and her new baby Creed. She was hoping Lopez would be more involved in her sons’ lives but, so far, she’s been sorely disappointed.

In the next episode of Teen Mom 2, Lowry discusses her reasons for moving and regretting her decision.
“I’m going to look at a house in Dover,” she says in the clip. “I’m really excited, and I have a good feeling about it, and if I could just, like, work it out and make it happen because Chris is not stepping up like I thought he would.
“I f*cked up, like that’s the bottom line, I f*cked up by moving,” she continues, “and I made that mistake and now I need to correct it because I don’t need to be driving back and forth 35 minutes to make it easier for someone who’s not contributing to our household.”

In Sept., Lowry explained to a fan on social media the custody situation with Lopez.
“He does not have custody,” she wrote. “He has supervised visits.”
Lowry had hoped, with the birth of Creed, that Lopez would “step up.”
“Nothing I do is going to change someone else’s behavior. However, I feel like this is another attempt of me giving him a chance to not argue about the last name… [To] try to be there,” Lowry said on her podcast, Coffee Convos, on Aug. 13. of inviting Lopez to the birth of Creed and giving him Lopez’s last name.
Lowry also told In Touch that she invited Lopez to Creed’s birth for Creed.
“I just feel like, if I didn’t allow him to be there in that moment, I would never have the opportunity — neither one of us would have the opportunity to take it back or change it,” she told the site. “I never want my child to question why I didn’t allow their dad to be there. And I feel like, even if things don’t work out with Chris or he decides not to co-parent with me… nobody can ever say that I didn’t allow him to be there and to try to be a parent.”
Kailyn Lowry says Chris Lopez didn’t visit Creed in the month following his birth
On Aug. 31, Lowry did an interview with The Domenick Nati Show where she was asked her “current status with Chris.”
“We don’t communicate at all. I don’t remember the last time I heard from him,” she told Nati. “He hasn’t seen Creed since he was born and maybe a couple days after. So it’s been rough but I didn’t expect anything else.
“I don’t know what he wants,” she continued. “Because in my mind I think if you wanted to see him, you would ask. If you wanted to be there, you would. I just think people do what they want and actions speak louder than words.”
