‘Teen Mom 2’: Kailyn Lowry Says She Still Won’t Be Vaccinating Her Children
Teen Mom 2 star, Kailyn Lowry, came out as an anti-vaxxer in 2018, when she revealed that her young son, Lux, is unvaccinated and that her second son, Lincoln has only received some vaccinations. The internet was properly shocked, and Lowry has fought off critics ever since the admission. Some followers, however, assumed that the current public health crisis would change Lowry’s mind. It has done the opposite. Now pregnant with her fourth child, Lowry insists that she won’t be vaccinating her children if or when a Coronavirus vaccine becomes available.
Kailyn Lowry suggests she absolutely will not be vaccinating her children against Coronavirus
Medical research labs across the globe are racing to find a vaccine that would stop the spread of the Coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan, China, in late 2019. To date, at least one million people have been sickened, and 55,000 have died from the disease. Lowry, however, won’t be in line to get the shot if it becomes available.
She maintains that she is following proper social distancing protocol, but won’t be lining her kids up to get vaccinated whenever widespread availability is offered. Lowry has publicly stated that she believes vaccinations cause autism and cancer. She is not the only person who doesn’t believe in vaccinations. Her Twitter followers seem to be split on the issue.
Why is Kailyn Lowry against vaccination?
Lowry noted, during an episode of her famed podcast, that her eldest child, Isaac, is, in fact, vaccinated. She, however, noted that she regrets the decision and feels as if she is better informed now. According to USA Today, Lowry said she watched several documentaries over the last several years that changed her mind about vaccinating.
Lowry’s eldest child might have completed his vaccination schedule, but that’s not true for her other two children. Lincoln, 5, who she shares with ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, apparently only has some vaccinations completed, and it doesn’t look like she’s in a rush to finish off the schedule. Lowry’s two-year-old son, Lux, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez, has absolutely no vaccinations. It is assumed that Lowry will also forgo vaccinations for her fourth child, a boy. Lowry’s fourth child, who she will also share with Lopez, is due in July 2020.
What will Lowry name her fourth child?
Between practicing social distancing, and speaking out about vaccinations, Lowry has a lot on her plate. News of Lowry’s pregnancy came at an inopportune time. Lowry has a troubled relationship with the father of her child, and the pair are currently ordered to stay away from one another. An order of protection against Lopez was issued in October 2019.
Lowry is likely spending her time at home, figuring out what to name her fourth child. Her third child, Lux, went nameless for more than a month, and Lowry is hoping to avoid the same problem with her new baby. From the sounds of it, she hasn’t yet had any luck picking a name just yet. She has openly asked for suggestions on social media.
