‘Teen Mom 2’: Kailyn Lowry Says She’s ‘Done Paying for Attorneys’ To ‘Fight’ With Exes
Teen Mom 2 fans have watched Kailyn Lowry attempt to co-parent with the fathers of her four sons through the years. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing, to put it lightly.
Lowry shares Isaac (10) with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, Lincoln (6) with ex-husband Javi Marroquin, and sons Lux (3) and Creed (3 months) with ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez.
Recently, Lowry declared that, in 2021 and beyond, she is done fighting with her exes. Most of all, she’s done “paying for attorneys.”
Kailyn Lowry doesn’t want any Christmas drama
In the Nov. 3 episode of Lowry and Vee Rivera’s podcast, “Baby Mamas No Drama,” the Teen Mom 2 star spoke about how Christmas is going to look this year for her family. She doesn’t want any drama. So if the fathers of her children want them on Christmas, she’s happy to oblige.
“In our agreement that I have with Javi and Jo, it says that this year, Christmas Eve, I think, is mine until Christmas Day at 12,” she said on the podcast. “But I don’t personally care about Christmas, so we don’t have to listen to the agreement. I told both of them they can have Christmas, like, that’s all theirs. I don’t care.”
However, if things go south for whatever reason–Lowry and one or more of her exes can’t agree on scheduling, for example–they can always just refer to the custody agreement.
“In the event that we got into a fight and I changed my mind, we would just fall back to the custody agreement because that is supposed to help,” she said.
Kailyn Lowry doesn’t want anymore drama with her baby daddies going into 2021
Lowry’s desire for a drama-free holiday is spilling into 2021. She doesn’t want to need attorneys for anything besides her businesses moving forward.
“I’m not gonna fight,” she said. “I’m not fighting with nobody. You know what? [In] 2021, Vee, I’m not even f*cking playing. I am done paying for attorneys. I have six attorneys. When I told you I’m done paying f*cking all of them, unless it’s related to my f*cking businesses, I am done. I’m done! We [are] working this sh*t out.”
Kailyn Lowry was arrested for allegedly punching Chris Lopez
Lowry was arrested last month for allegedly assaulting Lopez during an argument about Lux. According to Us Weekly, the court documents state that Lopez alleged that Lowry “started attacking him [and] punching him several times on the head and upper torso because she did not want the child’s hair cut.”
Lopez also claimed that he “did not fight back.”
“Ms. Lowry has filed a petition for custody in the matter involving her children Lux and Creed,” Lowry’s attorney said in a statement on Oct. 29. “The judge in the Delaware Family Court has ordered the parties to refrain from discussing all domestic matters until after the hearing next year.”
The statement continued, “Currently, Ms. Lowry has been awarded sole custody of the children despite the allegations pending in Family Court. Ms. Lowry does deny all of the allegations but cannot respond specifically at this time due to the orders of the judge.”
