‘Teen Mom’ Drama: Jenelle Evans Slams Chelsea Houska Despite Houska Being Completely Neutral About Evans
Jenelle Evans is set to return to the Teen Mom franchise. The big news, along with her separation from David Eason, has been the talk of the internet. Fans and followers aren’t the only ones interested. Former coworkers have commented on Evans’ recent life developments. Earlier this month, Farrah Abraham slammed Jenelle Evans for returning to the series. Chelsea Houska has commented on her divorce when asked about it, as well. Evans has taken some commentary more negatively than others. While Evans’ responded to Abaraham’s criticism, she seemed more bothered by Chelsea Houska’s passing comments. She took to Instagram to slam her former co-star.
What did Chelsea Houska say about Jenelle Evans’ divorce?
Jenelle Evans’ renewed interest in Chelease Houska stems from one comment Houska made during a recent interview. In April, Houska and her husband, Cole DeBoer, sat down with Access Hollywood to discuss their work on Down Home Fab. During the interview, Houska was asked about Jenelle Evans’ separation. Houska, clearly taken aback by the question, stammered before admitting she had not been in contact with Evans. She said she couldn’t imagine how difficult a divorce in the public eye is before wishing Evans the best.
Houska then moved on from the topic of Evans and got back to her current work. The mother of four departed Teen Mom 2 in 2020, a year after Evans was fired from the franchise. Houska quit the MTV series to focus on other projects. Houska has a show on HGTV and a clothing line. Evans attempted to launch a makeup line following her Teen Mom 2 firing, but it never took off.
Jenelle Evans slams Chelsea Houska on Instagram
Houska’s comment was pretty neutral. While the former Teen Mom 2 star appeared uncomfortable discussing Evans, she was honest and straightforward. She said nothing negative about Evans or her soon-to-be-ex, David Eason. Still, Evans had an issue with her comments.
On Instagram, a fan allegedly asked Evans if she was still in contact with her former castmates. Evans said she was not in contact with Houska, Kailyn Lowry, or Leah Messer. While she didn’t call out Messer or Lowry by name this time, she did elaborate on Houska.
Evans said it was “funny” that Houska played “nice” during her interview despite not reaching out to her. She went on to say they were “all” two-faced. In a separate question, Evans attacked Houska further, claiming that the HGTV star has always hated her and never acted as a “friend” to her. Houska has never suggested she was friendly with Evans.
Jenelle Evans won’t need to come face-to-face with Chelsea Houska or Kailyn Lowry anytime soon. Both former costars have left the franchise and seem to be staying away. Messer, however, will appear on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, the series Evans will be appearing in. She does not appear to have any scenes with Messer, though. Evans has filmed scenes with Briana DeJesus and Jade Cline.
