The mother of four said several factors led to the decision, but she ultimately decided to protect her eldest child and their relationship. She said, “When she was little, the stuff that was going on with her dad and stuff, it was from my point of view, and as she got older, it started coming from her point of view.” Houska went on to say that she wants Aubree to have that part of her life private. She also said she wanted Aubree to have the right to private conversations with her as she became a teen. Aubree turned 12 in September 2021.
Houska’s eldest child, Aubree, was born on an episode of 16 and Pregnant. Houska’s troubled relationship with Aubree’s biological father, Adam Lind, was heavily featured in the early seasons of Teen Mom 2.
