Following the Feb. 8, 2022 episode of Teen Mom: Family Reunion, where Farrah Abraham made her entrance, her daughter Sophia Laurent took to social media to share her thoughts on the blow-up.
In a lengthy Instagram caption, she began by stating she felt the MTV star “deserves to surround herself with better work surroundings” and referred to the Family Reunion cast members as “bad people.”
The 12-year-old continued, “I hope the other kids turn out OK because their parents are lost in the hate land that’s not real.” She then slammed the other Teen Mom regulars for living “in the past” and called them “hateful people” that don’t “deserve to be in my mom’s eyesight.”
Sophia also claimed she didn’t think her mother warranted negative treatment over the past 10 years as she believes the 30-year-old is “a role model” and “leader.”
Sophia Abraham called ‘Teen Mom’ the ‘worst show ever’
Additionally, the Mom and Me co-owner claimed the show “is in shambles” and insisted she and her mother have better lives than Teen Mom.
She then thanked those who have supported her mom and closed by slamming the show, production team, and crew members.
Sophia called the MTV reality series the “worst show ever” and ended by calling out the network directly.
“Learn how to make better TV without lying about someone who is greater than you! It is what it is; grow up, face the truth, and stop being mean to my mom.” Throughout the lengthy caption, the 12-year-old expressed her love for her mom several times.
Farrah Abraham caused a massive blow-up with a ‘ghetto’ comment during ‘Teen Mom: Family Reunion’
During episode 5 of Teen Mom: Family Reunion, Farrah made her return to the franchise. Even though Maci Bookout McKinney and Cheyenne Floyd noted in a previous episode that they extended an invite to the alum, the group seemed surprised by her entrance.
Teen Mom 2’s Bariki Smith and Ashley Jones, as well as OG’s Cory Wharton and Cheyenne, admittedly had a problem with Farrah as she reportedly claimed they had their children to land a spot on the franchise.
Shortly after she arrived, Cory approached her and asked about her comment. Farrah replied, “I guess I feel really ghetto too, like that.” It upset Cheyenne, who began yelling at the alum, eventually flipping over a table. Farrah also became annoyed, believing others “took things out of context.”
The following day, she spoke to life coach Cheyenne Bryant who explained why her comment offended the others. The OG star admitted she should’ve used a different word but isn’t sure why she responded in that manner. By the end of the conversation, the 30-year-old agreed to sit down with a few of the other cast members. Teen Mom: Family Reunion airs Tuesdays on MTV.
