‘Teen Mom’: Jenelle Evans and Amber Portwood’s Feud Continues: The Troubled Stars Are Throwing Shade on Twitter
Jenelle Evans still hasn’t learned that people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. The troubled Teen Mom 2 star shaded Amber Portwood shortly after news of her domestic battery arrest was made public. Portwood, likely fresh out of a jail cell, clapped back with a link of her own, and just like that the reality TV stars’ feud was reignited.
What did Jenelle Evans have to say about Portwood’s arrest?
Shortly after sharing multiple links that outlined the details of Portwood’s early morning arrest, Evans took to Twitter with a personalized message. She wrote: “All I have to say is at least I learn from my past mistakes.” She finished her tweet with a shrugging emoji. Although Evans never mentioned Portwood in the tweet, everyone can read between the lines.
Fans were quick to note that the troubled mother of three was throwing shade just a couple of days after regaining custody of her children. They had previously been removed from her home after her husband, David Eason, shot and killed the family dog.
Portwood and Evans have an illustrious history of social media feuds. The two went at each other earlier in the year via Instagram Live. Evans posted a lengthy, profanity-laden rant after Portwood expressed concern about Eason possibly being abusive.
Portwood wasted no time throwing shade right back
Portwood clearly jumped back on Twitter the second she was sprung from jail. She took to the social media platform to share an old link to an article about Evans’ 911 call. The particular article that Portwood linked pertained to Evans and Eason receiving a white powder in the mail, but several 911 recordings have been released in recent weeks.
One recording chronicles Eason flipping out over an article he read online. In the recording, Evans is heard telling a 911 dispatcher that Eason has a gun and that she is hiding in the attic. The couple’s 2-year-old daughter was allegedly sleeping in the home at the time. Twenty-five 911 calls were received from the couple or about the couple in the last 12 months.
While Portwood failed to caption her tweet, most fans assume she was reminding Evans that she didn’t learn from her past mistakes, as she remains in a relationship with Eason. Portwood and fans have long surmised that the father of three is abusive.
Fans are weighing in on the drama
Portwood and Evans are among the most controversial Teen Mom stars. Both have been arrested, both have had lengthy court battles, and both have lost custody of children at some point. Fans, however, didn’t take kindly to Evans calling Portwood out so quickly.
One fan noted that Evans had been arrested way more times than Portwood. Another Twitter user asked Evans to name a single thing she’s changed other than her last name. One honest user simply suggested that it was time for Evans to sit down.
