‘Teen Mom OG’: Is Tierra Reign Closed for Good?
It looks like Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have abandoned their children’s clothing company after failing to file necessary paperwork two years in a row. The Teen Mom OG stars launched the children’s boutique in February 2017, but it didn’t take long for problems to arise. Catelynn’s stay in a mental health facility and the issues between the couple made it difficult for them to keep up with the demands of the fledgling company. As complaints started to flood in, it seems like Catelynn and Tyler both checked out entirely. With a shutdown website, an inactive social media footprint, and not a peep from the pair, fans assume Tierra Reign is no more.
Costumers were peeved during the 2018 holiday season
While Tierra Reign’s website just recently went inactive, it’s obvious the fledgling company has been in trouble for some time. During the holiday 2018 season shoppers were angered when the products page was not updated. Not only did the website have the previous season’s products up for sale, but the majority of goods were sold out.
Teen Mom fans on Reddit noted that the couple hadn’t bothered to update their social media pages since September 2018 and nothing new was being offered on the website. While the pair seem to have honored the orders that they received to the site, they were not doing any work to update it with new products. In fact, it looks like they were planning to phase it out all along.
Tyler and Catelynn have a chance to reclaim the business
While they have failed to update their paperwork in 2018 and 2019, they do have the option to recover the business. According to Radar Online, the couple has until February 2020 to update their paperwork with the licensing board. If they fail to do so by the date, they’ll lose their LLC status, and the company’s name, Tierra Reign, will be free for another business to use.
Neither Tyler nor Catelynn have commented on the fate of the company. In fact, they have been entirely silent about the company since the before the 2018 holiday season. The shuttered website and the inactive social media profiles don’t offer much hope.
The family has a lot on their plate
While launching a business seemed like a good idea in 2017, Tyler and Catelynn had a lot on their plates, and little has changed about that since. Lowell checked herself into a treatment program after it was clear that she was suffering from postpartum depression. She returned to the same treatment center for two more six-week programs
Her most recent stint in a treatment facility came after the couple suffered a miscarriage back in January 2018. The couple, who were childhood sweethearts, were also weathering trouble in their marriage. In fact, they briefly separated before they reunited prior to the birth of their third child together. Vaeda was born in February 2019. They welcomed Novalee in 2015. In 2009 the pair made the difficult decision to give up their first daughter for adoption.
