The Real Housewives of New Jersey wrapped up its 14th season in August and was immediately put on pause. The dramatic season led to serious production issues, and Bravo is contemplating how to move forward. While the network hasn’t shared official news, the series’ cast is drumming up plenty of drama despite the pause. For example, Jennifer Aydin made headlines for her Jersey Mike’s meltdown and insistence that she’d be returning to the show. As it turns out, none of the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey knows if they’ll get a chance to redeem themselves with another season. The network, however, is hunting for new talent.

Jackie Goldschneider says Bravo is searching for new ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ cast members on Facebook

Andy Cohen has spent months insisting no decision has been made regarding The Real Housewives of New Jersey and its overly dramatic cast. He has admitted the series is on pause indefinitely, though. While Cohen insists the show is on pause, Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider suggest there has been some movement. Goldschneider appeared on Turning the Tables in November and revealed a casting call had gone out.

While appearing as a guest on Giudice’s podcast, Goldschneider insisted that a casting call for The Real Housewives of New Jersey went out to a group she belongs to on Facebook. The group is for mothers in the Tenafly, New Jersey area. Tenafly is one of several affluent Bergen County cities. According to 97.3 ESPN, Tenafly made the list of the country’s wealthiest suburbs, with an average household income close to $300,000 per year. It’s the type of community that would certainly interest Bravo.

The network isn’t leaving it to just Facebook, though

Jackie Goldschneider insists the network is looking for housewives on Facebook. That’s not the only place they are looking for potential cast members for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, though. Giudice was unsurprised by Goldschneider’s tea. The mother of four was aware Bravo was looking for potential cast members but hadn’t seen the casting call on Facebook.

Instead, Giudice revealed that a friend had received an email about potentially joining the cast. Giudice did not disclose who the friend was or the contents of the email. While Giudice was the last remaining original cast member, it doesn’t sound like she’s getting any information from Bravo, either. She doesn’t know if she’ll be returning to the series or not, either. It could be months before Bravo shares official news, though.
