Teyana Taylor and Winnie Harlow Get Wild at Teyana’s Epic Miami Birthday Bash
Teyana Taylor kicked off her 34th birthday celebration three days early with a big bash in Miami. Art Basel is in full swing in the 305, so Taylor chose an appropriate theme for her big night. See the “Morning” singer party with her A-list friends at the wild affair.
On December 7, Taylor celebrated turning 34 with friends, including model Winnie Harlow and singer Victoria Monét. Taylor’s birthday wasn’t until December 10. But the Saturday night before her big day sure seemed appropriate for a huge party in South Beach. Earlier, on November 23, Taylor posted a video on Instagram honoring Sagittarius season. She was certainly ready to celebrate.
Officially called the Doo-Wop: All R&B Soul Music Party Experience, the bash featured producer and rapper Jermaine Dupri, who DJed R&B hits at The Urban, a 58,000-square-foot outdoor event space. Taylor welcomed some special guests, including close friends Harlow and Monet, actor Lena Waithe, and rappers Rico Love and Fabolous. Taylor’s mom, Nikki Taylor, also joined in on the fun.
As Teyana’s star rose, Nikki became her manager, founding Taylormade Enterprises and Taylormade Management Group, Inc. Although Nikki’s exact age is unknown, she certainly doesn’t look much older than her daughter. The A Thousand and One actor likely got her fashion sense from Nikki, who has a history as a celebrity stylist with many connections in the industry.
All eyes were on Teyana at her birthday party. The mother of two wore the Andrea Almeida Aline Dress in beige. The hand-crocheted dress by the Brazilian designer features an open weave with see-through paneling, an asymmetrical hem, and silver embellishments. Teyana wore her hair in a half-down, half-up style letting her natural waves fall to her waist.
Teyana danced with Monét and Harlow, taking selfies with fans and entertaining the crowd as they took shots and sang along. The White Men Can’t Jump actor posted a series of photos to her Instagram with a simple brown heart as the caption. Fans loved the pics, leaving comments like, “I love when the group photo looks like brown sugar. Just gorgeous.” Another wrote, “Teyana and Victoria as a couple. I support it – a girl can dream.” Monét herself left a comment, saying, “I love you baby!”
