After weeks of spirited competition, Aquaria emerged as “America’s Next Drag Superstar,” earning the title, the cash prize, and the crown. Thanks to a recent partnership with The Knocks, this winner is now in her “Maddie Ziegler era,” referencing the Dance Moms celebrity.

In 2022, The Knocks and Dragonette released “Slow Song” just weeks ahead of the album History. In addition to premiering this single on most major streaming platforms, this band debuted an original music video.
The YouTube production earned over 300 thousand views, making it one of The Knocks’ most popular videos to date. Part of what made this video so unique was the inclusion of Aquaria, who danced along to The Knocks’ latest release.
Complete with a blonde-blue hairstyle, Aquaria made her dancing debut in style. The drag performer also appeared in the single art for “Slow Song.” She later took to social media, sharing clips on her Instagram account and commenting on the experience on her Twitter.
