‘The Bachelor’ 2025 filming locations, revealed
ABC’s The Bachelor is known for heading to different filming locations throughout the seasons, and season 29 is no different. The season began with Grant Ellis outside of the iconic mansion near Los Angeles. Grant has three rose ceremonies total in LA before moving forward to the show’s abroad locations.
By the fourth rose ceremony, Grant and the remaining women head to Madrid, Spain. Photos captured from The Bachelor Season 29 show Grant meeting with the ladies in Plaza Mayor, a major public area right in the heart of Madrid.
After Madrid, the remaining seven women head to Edinburgh, Scotland. The “Pretty Woman” date that happens every season, which involves Grant taking one of the women on a shopping one-on-one date, occurs in Edinburgh.
Grant and his remaining four women then head back to the States for hometowns. The lead heads to Massachusetts, New York, Wyoming, and Chicago.
Grant and his final three then head back abroad to the Dominican Republic. This is where overnight dates and the final rose ceremony take place.
Grant Ellis says he’s ‘willing and open to relocate’
While The Bachelor Season 29 star Grant Ellis gets to travel to new places while learning about his potential future wife, he has to consider where he hopes to land in the future. He currently lives in Houston, Texas, and was raised in Newark, New Jersey. He explained how he’s “willing” to reconsider where he lives for the right woman.
“I’m willing and open to relocate,” he said on The Viall Files. “I’m pretty flexible.”
However, while speaking to ABC13 Houston News, it doesn’t sound like Grant would be too upset to stay in Houston post-Bachelor season.
“The restaurants in Houston are really good,” he told the news anchor when asked about his favorite aspects of the Texas city. “… I love a lot of good restaurants I go to in Houston. And then, just hang out with my family, my cousins. And just enjoy the view and enjoy the scene and everything that Houston has to offer.”
Host Jesse Palmer says Grant Ellis had an ‘authentic’ and ‘conflicted’ moment while in the Dominican Republic
Grant Ellis has a difficult decision to make at the end of The Bachelor Season 29. Previews show him unsure of who to choose during the finale. Host Jesse Palmer asks Grant who to send first, and Grant doesn’t know.
“We got both women, they’re here on standby, and of course, I have to know which to send first,” Jesse says.
Jesse told Us Weekly that the moment caught on camera while in the Dominican Republic was completely real and showed the turmoil that Grant felt at the time.
“It’s real. And I don’t know if you could tell from watching that from my reaction, [but] I was surprised,” Jesse told the publication. “That was something that I haven’t encountered yet as the host in the last four years on any of the franchises. Normally, I think, our leads have a little bit more clarity — a lot more clarity — heading into the final day. And I really think that’s how conflicted Grant really was. Without giving away too much, that was authentic, and it’s real, and it’s not an edit.”
