The Bachelor host Chris Harrison mostly remains neutral when talking about contestants and leads on the show. However, in the season finale of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons Ever, he spoke openly about what a terrible lead Juan Pablo Galavis was on his season. Harrison even told former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe she dodged a bullet by not being on his season.

Former Bachelorette stars joined Chris Harrison to talk about Juan Pablo Galavis

Kristen Bristowe wasn’t the only one to discuss Galavis with the host. Becca Kufrin, Andi Dorfman, Trista Sutter, and various other Bachelor Nation favorites gave their opinion on Galavis.

“What comes to mind is that he just wasn’t what America sees in a man,” Bristowe told the host

Then, Harrison asked the first Bachelorette, Sutter, what she thought about Galavis’ date with Clare Crawley.

“I am blown away by his complete lack of respect and manners,” Sutter explained. “I get that there’s a communication barrier there. No excuse.”

All of the women spoke about how negatively Galavis’ treated the women in his season.

Kaitlyn Bristowe applied to be on Juan Pablo Galavis’s season of ‘The Bachelor’

“I know from experience that sometimes your vision can be blurred by someone’s charm,” the Dancing with the Stars contestant admitted.

Then she told America something no one knew before.

“I’m just glad no one picked me for his season because that’s the one I signed up for,” Bristowe admitted. “I remember making my video and saying ‘I can’t wait to meet Camilla [Galavis’ daughter].'”

Harrison was shocked. He didn’t know that Bristowe originally applied to be on Galavis’ season of The Bachelor before joining Chris Soules’ season.

“Wow, bullet dodged,” Harrison told the former Bachelorette.

Clare Crawley wants to thank Juan Pablo Galavis for breaking up with her

Chris Harrison also met with future Bachelorette Crawley to discuss her feelings on dating Galavis.

“It took a lot of self-reflection, but it really was just growth from there,” Crawley explained. “It was that moment that changed my life, honestly.”

Then she also revealed something no one ever expected.

“I kind of want to thank him,” the Bachelorette told Harrison. “If it weren’t’ for him, if it weren’t’ for this opportunity, I wouldn’t be the woman I am today. It taught me forgiveness to move on and move forward.”

Crawley tells Harrison that she is thankful because it helped her realize that she is “capable of great things as a woman and as an adult.”
