‘The Bachelor’: Did Hackers Release Topless Photos of Former Contestant Amanda Stanton?
The internet is not a safe place. Former Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise contestant Amanda Stanton has learned that the hard way.
On Tuesday, she took to Instagram to explain the situation that has had her stressed out lately. According to Stanton, a man had obtained pictures of her from her breast augmentation and was sending them around.
She posted a picture, stressing how much anxiety the situation had been causing her.
“The past week has been rough for me,” she captioned a photo. “I won’t get into detail but my anxiety is out of control and I’ve been extremely stressed over some things that are completely out of my control.”
“Losing sleep, having no motivation and just haven’t been
How did the hacker get Stanton’s photos?

“About three weeks ago, when we first moved into our new place, I woke up randomly in the middle of the night and looked at my email,” she told her followers. “I had about four emails from a random person who I didn’t know who had said that he hacked into my doctor’s database from when I had my breast augmentation.”
The pictures that were taken for her February 2018 procedure showed Stanton topless.
“He had some nude photos of me in the doctor’s office, which is just stupid because they’re medical photos,” she continued. “But he was basically asking for a lot of money and threatening to send the photos to everybody who I follow.”
The hackers threats to Stanton
When the reality star didn’t immediately pay the sum, the hacker started sending the photos to Stanton’s coworkers, producers at ABC, and other people that she knew. He would also message her daily.
Eventually, he began to send the pictures out to her followers. Some of Stanton’s followers have since reached out to let her know that they had been sent photos.
What is Stanton doing to fight her hacker?
Since all of this started, Stanton has gone to the police to let them know what’s going on. She also asked her followers to be respectful and keep the photos private if they do receive them.
“I just don’t want to give somebody that power over me,” she continued. “I hope that by me addressing it, he’ll just stop.”
Stanton also expressed concern over what other things the hacker could have on her.
“I don’t know what other information this person has,” she told her followers. “It’s been exhausting. I know there are bigger issues and it’ll be okay, it’s just been stressful but I’m hoping that by coming out and telling you guys about it, that it will make me feel a little bit better.
