The Bachelor couple Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan announced their breakup on Dec. 31, 2020. The pilot wrote a heartfelt post on Instagram announcing the news; however, Flanagan’s announcement came several days later. Now, a former MTV reality TV star is claiming that Weber cheated on Flanagan. Let’s take a look at how much truth is in the claim.

‘The Bachelor’: Peter Weber broke things off with Kelley Flanagan

Pilot Pete was the one who initiated the break up between The Bachelor couple, and fans aren’t surprised. He broke off his engagement with Hannah Ann Sluss and then Madison Prewett after the finale. 

“Love is a funny thing,” Weber captioned the photo on Instagram of Flanagan and himself looking into the sunset. “It can make you feel on top of the world, and it can make you feel a pain you wish didn’t exist. I’m here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways. While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn’t work out in the end.” 

“Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for,” he continued. “Someone I have learned more from than she will ever understand. Someone I am so thankful came into my life and someone I will always wish all of life’s greatest blessings on. These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion, that shows you it was worth the time you spent together. Thank you, Kelley.”

Flanagan shared similar sentiments on her social media account.

Rumors circulated that Weber cheated on Flanagan before their breakup

The cheating rumors began on Jan. 3, 2021, from an MTV reality TV alum, Jemmye Carroll. Fans might know her from her numerous seasons competing on The Challenge.

“I will forever wish a woman like his mother on [Weber] bc that’s what he deserves!” Carroll tweeted. “He cheated on queen Kelly(who I supported from day one) with a wannabe Revolve influencer.”

Fans on Reddit picked up the tweet, as well as several tea-spilling Instagram accounts. However, viewers pointed out that the former MTV contestant did not spell Flanagan’s first name correctly. The tea remains unverified at this point.

An unnamed source reported that Weber did not cheat

After the rumors began circulating, an unnamed source came forward to speak with Us Weekly about the Weber-Flanagan relationship. 

“They were together all the time, so there was no way either one could’ve cheated,” the source told the outlet. “Their personalities just didn’t mix — that was a big factor for the breakup. They also fought and had many disagreements and didn’t see eye to eye at times.”

Weber and Flanagan have not yet commented on the cheating rumors. They did not respond to Cheatsheet’s request for comment at this time.
