‘The Bachelor’ Finale: Susie Evans Speaks Out in Promo: ‘I Felt Like a Stray Dog’
Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor has shocked many fans. During the first half of The Bachelor finale, Clayton told his final two women, Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey, that he was in love with them — but he was also in love with Susie Evans. Now, it seems Susie returns. And the new promo for the finale shows her speaking to Clayton.

A new promo for ‘The Bachelor’ finale shows Susie Evans confronting Clayton Echard
The first half of The Bachelor finale showed Clayton Echard confronting Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey with his true feelings. He fell in love with both of his final women as well as Susie Evans — but Susie left during her Fantasy Suites date. At the end of part one of the finale, Clayton admitted he still has deep feelings for Susie — and Jesse Palmer let him know Susie’s still available in Iceland.
A new promo for the second half of the finale shows Clayton and Susie. “I can’t stop thinking about Susie and what we had,” he says in the promo. The next clip shows him coming face to face with Susie for the first time after Fantasy Suites week.
“Is there any way you can give me a second chance?” Clayton asks her.
“I felt like a stray dog,” Susie tells him in response. “I’m so humiliated.”
The next clip shows Clayton speaking to Rachel and Gabby — and it doesn’t go over well. Rachel is seen crying next to him as he tells her he loves her. Then, when Clayton tells Gabby he loves her, she responds with, “Yeah, right. You sound actually ridiculous.”
Does Susie win ‘The Bachelor’?
The Bachelor finale promo featuring Susie Evans’ return seems to indicate she’s here to stay. So, does Susie win The Bachelor?
Reality Steve’s spoilers note the conclusion of the show is unlike anything fans have ever seen before. According to the spoiler guru, Susie does win, and she makes it all the way to the end with Clayton after Rachel and Gabby go home. But she and Clayton don’t leave together happily. Instead, when Clayton tells her he loves her, Susie allegedly tells Clayton she’s not in love with him, and she leaves.
“Clayton did tell Susie he was in love with her,” Reality Steve wrote. “Susie tells Clayton in return that she is NOT in love with him, and she walks away. Clayton leaves Iceland single.”
When is ‘The Bachelor’ ‘After the Final Rose’ airing?
While speaking on multiple podcasts, Clayton noted The Bachelor finale shows one thing, but more answers will be revealed during the “After the Final Rose” special. “After the Final Rose” will likely feature Rachel, Gabby, and Susie confronting Clayton for the first time since Iceland.
When is The Bachelor “After the Final Rose” airing? Part two of the finale begins on March 15, 2022, at 8 p.m. EST. Once the footage from the season wraps up, the night goes straight into “After the Final Rose,” which will likely air sometime around 9 p.m. EST the same night.
