‘The Bachelor’: Former Winner Vanessa Grimaldi Gets Married
Fans of “The Bachelor” franchise remember Vanessa Grimaldi as the frontrunner of Nick Viall’s season. Grimaldi tied the knot last weekend, but not with former partner Viall.
Vanessa Grimaldi was the winner of ‘The Bachelor’ season 21
Grimaldi was the winner of Nick Viall’s season, but her road to finding love wasn’t exactly smooth. When Grimaldi and Viall went on their first one-on-one date together, he took her for a ride in a zero-gravity airplane. The experience was nauseating for Grimaldi, who got sick and threw up.
Undeterred by illness, Grimaldi and Viall shared their first kiss just moments later. Grimaldi remained a frontrunner for the rest of the season, ultimately winning the competition for Viall’s love.

Vanessa Grimaldi was previously engaged to Nick Viall
Before getting engaged to her current husband, Grimaldi got engaged to Viall on screen. As is the tradition in “The Bachelor,” Viall selected a Neil Lane diamond to present to the final contestant of the show.
Viall was instantly drawn to a 3.75-carat round-cut diamond. Lane presented Viall with several options but noted that Viall kept returning to his first choice. “I showed him rings in all different shapes and styles, but he kept going back to the one he was first drawn to,” said Lane.
Viall chose the ring intuitively by picturing Grimaldi and matching her face to the perfect diamond. “I just closed my eyes and just envisioned her beautiful face,” said Viall. “I knew immediately which one was perfect for her.”
Who is Vanessa Grimaldi’s new husband?
Grimaldi, age 33, dated her fiancé, 36-year-old Josh Wolfe, for about a year before getting engaged last summer.
Josh Wolfe is a businessman. He is also from Montreal, Canada, just like Grimaldi. But unlike his wife, Wolfe has nothing to do with the reality TV franchise.
Many former “Bachelor” contestants go on to seek love on “Bachelor in Paradise,” one of the franchise’s popular shows. They often end up dating contestants from other seasons, or even cast members from other reality shows.
But it’s safe to say that Grimaldi had better luck finding lasting love off-camera. “I’m over the moon!” said Grimaldi of her nuptials. “Josh is the best partner to have in life and I feel so grateful.”
Vanessa Grimaldi’s wedding details
The two Canadians got married in an intimate ceremony surrounded by immediate family members in their hometown Montreal on Friday, August 20, 2021. They chose the Le Mount Stephen Hotel for their venue, and their event planner was Tania Tassone.
Grimaldi wore a custom lace gown by Maria Arciero Design. The designer and the bride collaborated on little details, like the embroidered “J” and “V” on the sleeves, to make the dress memorable and sentimental. The groom wore a suit by Miguel Waxman.
According to Grimaldi, the dress was perfectly tailored and comfortable enough that she could thoroughly enjoy her special day. “I choose comfort above everything. It hugs me in all the right places and I feel so confident in it.”
The couple exchanged traditional vows and, instead of Neil Lane diamonds, opted for rings by Teresa And Sons.
