‘The Bachelor’ Franchise 2020 Spring and Summer Lineup in Chronological Order with Cast Predictions
With Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor wrapping up next week, fans are looking forward to happier times. Season 24 was not the franchise’s proudest moment. Chris Harrison announced at “Women Tell All” that even Weber doesn’t know how the show ends. Fans don’t think that’s a good thing — his indecision continues to the bitter end.
Let’s switch gears and take a look at the many upcoming shows in The Bachelor franchise in chronological order. Beginning in April, we will have four forthcoming shows: The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart, The Bachelorette, Summer Games, and then Bachelor in Paradise (BIP).
When will ‘The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart’ air on ABC?
The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart, hosted by Chris Harrison, premieres Monday, Apr. 13 at 8/7c on ABC. On the show, singles will perform songs in American Idol-style solos and as couples.
“The biggest names in the music business” will judge the performances, including former Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher and her fiance Jordan Rodgers. The cast of 23 single men and women are up right now on ABC.com.
In a series similar to BIP, the couples will choose each other in a rose ceremony and decide if they want to continue. The show will go on until there is only one pair left.
When will ‘The Bachelorette’ with Clare Crowley premiere on ABC?
The 16th season of The Bachelorette with Clare Crowley will begin Monday, May 18, at 8 pm ET on ABC. The premiere date was announced on Mar. 2, 2020, courtesy of a press release by ABC.
You might remember Clare from the 18th season of The Bachelor when she stood up to Juan Pablo as she walked off. The 38-year-old hairstylist from Sacramento, CA returned to the franchise again for BIP Seasons 1 & 2; however, she left both without finding love.
Clare returned one more time for Bachelor Winter Games, where she met Benoit, who eventually proposed during the reunion episode. However, the two found that they were not as compatible as they thought and ultimately split.
All we know about Clare’s cast of guys so far is that they are older than 25, and at least four of them have children, according to Reality Steve.
When can viewers expect to see ‘The Bachelor Summer Games’ on ABC?
The Bachelor Summer Games will likely air Tuesday, Jul. 28, 2020, at 8 pm ET on ABC. The four-episode mini-series will run Tuesdays and Thursdays while the 2020 Summer Olympics are on NBC.
The Bachelorette will continue during this time, likely ending Monday, Aug. 3, 2020. The previous mini-series, The Bachelor Winter Games aired in 2018 while The Bachelor was running, so this will be similar.
Rob Mills, ABC’s Senior Vice President of Alternative Series, Specials & Late-Night Programming, confirmed on the Bachelor Party podcast via ET that The Bachelor: Summer Games is on for 2020.
“I think it’s going to be really fun,” Mills added. “We found a really great place to hold it. But I mean, it’s going to be so fun seeing these people in these great [sports]. I mean, track and field, swimming. This is a real Olympics.”
Mills went on to say that he would love to see Colton Underwood, Jordan Rodgers, or JoJo Fletcher appear on the season.
When will ‘The Bachelor in Paradise’ season 7 air on ABC?
The Bachelor in Paradise will likely premiere on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020. ABC has not yet announced the official date. However, all six previous seasons of BIP aired on either the first or second Monday in August. With Summer Games and The Bachelorette both airing during the Olympics, this is the most likely start date for BIP.
Season 7 of BIP will continue to air both Monday and Tuesday evenings at 8 pm ET, as it has the last four seasons. The official cast will be announced in June. However, fans speculate that it’s pretty likely we will see Alayah Benavidez, Kelsey Weier, and Mykenna Dorn judging by how much the producers love to create drama.
Others likely to return from Weber’s season include Sydney Hightower and Victoria Paul. For the guys, fans would not be surprised to see Mike Johnson, Jed Wyatt, or Blake Horstmann. Although Jed currently has a girlfriend, things could change by June.
Any men or women from past seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette might be asked to be on the show so we can expect some randoms as well.
